Same here best one ever was our night safari we were stuck by a hungry Rhino who was nibbling on a bush right in the driver’s path, then when we rounded the corner the lions decided to express their love for each other and the driver went speechless and said we saw the lions 🤪.

ANAHEIM, Calif. – San Fransokyo Square opens Aug. 31, 2023, at Disneyland Resort –
featuring sights, shopping and splendid cuisine from the industrious city in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award®-winning film “Big Hero 6.” This reimagined area of Disney California Adventure Park transports guests to the not-too-distant future, in a fictional mash-up of two iconic cities – San Francisco and Tokyo – where they’ll have the opportunity to meet boy genius Hiro Hamada and his huggable healthcare companion robot, Baymax.

The most iconic landmark of the area is the 54-foot-tall San Fransokyo Gate Bridge, which spans the tide pools linking the seaside plaza to the Paradise Gardens Park obelisk. Inside the bustling marketplace, guests will discover that the local businesses and eateries are decked out in street art and colorful banners celebrating the Big Hero 6 team after their victory over Yokai.

For whoever was asking about Mears being 24 hours- it definitely, but be warned- depending on HOW late, they don’t ever seem to have enough buses or shuttles and end up calling other company taxis and paying them, but makes the wait longer than necessary. It has happened to us twice, tonight being one of them(thought we’d give the late night one more go). Kind of frustrating when they have everyone’s flight info and landing time, so they know how many people they should be planning for. Late night has been the only issue we’ve had, so we will definitely still use them- I just think going forward, if we are landing after midnight (maybe even 11), we’ll just get an Uber/Lyft
 
Disneyland Paris' first pop up character for AP holders has started

Today the first surprise pop up for AP holders starts, as expected it is Tinkerbell, and there is another surprise... Ortensia switching off with Oswald.

Can't say I am too sad not to have ordered tickets. I am not particularly a Tink fan and have met her without much of a fight in WDW and Hong Kong. And untill a few years ago, I had never even heard of Oswald, let alone Ortensia. (I think a lot of people in Europe have the same opinion of Oswald & Ortensia)
So... this wasn't for me. But fair is fair, these are rare characters for Disneyland Paris and that was what was promised.

Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Park opens today, Sept. 1. Here's a first look at the latest annual bespoke gingerbread house "on its precarious perch" on the ballroom table, standing at 9 feet, 13 inches tall:

This year's rendition employs two new creative techniques: it’s the first to "feature cotton candy decorations that take the form of a frightfully fun food ghost and masterfully molded gingerbread chains that trap a haunted apparition inside," Disneyland said in a statement.

The fried AC part is out of stock until late September, so the next stage is to completely replace the AC unit, which was installed only a few months ago! Given that it’s the size of a car, it will take some planning. Please send positive thoughts to the universe that it can get done tomorrow night. In the meantime, Gideon’s at Disney Springs will likely be closed on September 1st. [Monthly promotions] will launch tomorrow per usual, but Gideon’s at East End [Market] is the only game in town until we’re back on track. 100+ degrees is impossible for my team, my desserts, and you.

Shanghai Disney Resort Announces Construction of Third Themed Hotel

The hotel is planned to be a deluxe accommodation, with 400 rooms once opened, joining the 420-room Shanghai Disneyland Hoteland the 795-room Toy Story Hotel.

Located on the shores of Wishing Star Lake, the future hotel will offer views of Shanghai Disneyland, as well as new indoor and outdoor recreational amenities and programming.

This new accommodation will also “immerse guest in spaces and activities which showcase Disney characters and stories,” according to a press release, as well as introduce new dining, shopping, and entertainment offerings.

The art style of the hotel will be influenced by Art Nouveau architecture and design, infused with Disney storytelling, and will serve as an homage to Shanghai’s 20th century architectural legacy.

The groundbreaking was attended by representatives of Shanghai Disney Resort’s joint venture shareholders, Shanghai Shendi Group and The Walt Disney Company, executives of Shanghai Disney Resort, and leadership from the Administrative Commission of Shanghai International Resort.
