I've been hoping April 10 would be available since we'll be there then and so happy to see it on the schedule. I've never done after hours so I have a few questions:

1) As a passholder can I buy four tickets even though the rest of my family are not passholders, or do only I get the discounted price?

2) I'm assuming the tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable but haven't been able to confirm. Are they non-refundable? My sons aren't sure they can get the time off and by the time they're sure, I'm afraid it will be sold out.

You can purchase the discount the tickets for your family, I haven’t had an issue doing that for any parties or after hours. As for the 2nd question I am not positive.

We went to Villains After Hours in June of 2019, and I was able to buy the discounted tickets for my kids when I was the only passholder. I checked and it does say in the email confirmation that the tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. This was 2019, but I'm guessing it's the same policy now.

We haven’t lost the magic but have redesigned it. Our trips are completely different now. DVC owners for over 20 years and have seen many changes,
we’ve just gone with the flow. Annual passes allow access whenever we want so we don’t have a need to constantly visit the parks. Rose and Crown is always a daily stop.

Thanks! I hoped that was the case...

I thought I heard they were nonrefundable...think I may have to wait then to get more of a commitment from my sons before purchasing. Hopefully they don't sell out right away.

Regarding 2, that non-refundable is in all the verbage for the parties and after hours, but it's been my experience, for the holiday parties at least, if you don't use the ticket, a credit stays on your account to use for a future event. Last year I got sick and couldn't do the Christmas party, I actually called and they said if the ticket was not used, the credit stayed on my account for future use. I used it to book a party for this year, I did have to call to do it, and it helped to have my pertinent information.

That is great to hear (not the getting sick part, but the credit part)...thanks!

Also on this point, I had a ticket to the first Christmas last year, which also coincided with a bunch of pre-hurricane rain, and I was able to go to the ticket window at MK and get it refunded before the party.

New Adventureland Treehouse Opening in Disneyland Nov. 10, 2023

Calling all explorers! We know you’ve been eagerly waiting to once again climb into the treetops high above Adventureland in Disneyland park, so we’re excited to share that Adventureland Treehouse inspired by Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson will open on Nov. 10, 2023, at Disneyland Resort. Keep reading for new storyline details from our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering and a new piece of artwork coming to the treehouse!

As previously announced, Adventureland Treehouse will pay tribute to the original treehouse Walt Disney and his Imagineers built in 1962 in honor of the movie “Swiss Family Robinson.” With the new Adventureland Treehouse, we’re excited to introduce a fresh story for the next generation of park goers to experience and enjoy.

Among the tree’s massive boughs, you’ll find the mother’s music den, the sons’ nature room and the daughter’s astronomer’s loft. Firm on the ground will be a kitchen and dining room, plus the father’s art studio that will display hand-drawn sketches and paintings of each room.

As the story goes, the family fashioned an oasis among the trees inspired by nature and using objects found around them. Here, they can collaborate together while also pursuing their own individual skills, talents, passions and interests.

Proud of what they’ve accomplished and eager to share their way of life with visitors from around the world, the family has rolled out the metaphorical welcome mat, inviting guests to climb up the stone stairway and explore their treetop abode.

Adjacent to the stairwell is the home’s iconic waterwheel, which is powered by a small brook that babbles nearby. The family created a pulley system to deliver water from the stream high up into the tree, generating the energy needed to activate many of their gadgets and inventions.

Daughter's Room Art, New Adventureland Treehouse Opening in Disneyland Nov. 10, 2023

Nestled in the highest part of the home, you will find the daughter’s room, as she has illustrated it here in her own abstract style. An admirer of celestial bodies and their magnitudes, motions and magic, her room provides a clear view of the beautiful night sky. It is here where she spends her time tracking stars, planets and comets with her many telescopes, no doubt making new discoveries which she logs in her notebooks, sketches and artistic recreations.

Mother's Room, New Adventureland Treehouse Opening in Disneyland Nov. 10, 2023

In the mother’s room, you’ll find musical instruments including a harp, lute, guitar and organ, which she plays to fill the home with cheerful melodies. The twin brothers have packed their room with an impossibly large collection of plants and animals, all living in harmony with one another. Filled with gadgets, appliances and devices of his own invention, the father’s studio reflects the whole family’s affinity for exploring the unknown and designing the unimaginable.

We look forward to welcoming visitors back to this walk-through attraction in the trees very soon!

I was just thinking yesterday it was odd that disney was announcing Pixer Place Hotel's opening in January before we had a opening month for Zootopia and Adventureland Treehouse, and now we've had both.
We just have to wait for an opening date for Summerhouse on the Lake, World Celebration, and Hatbox Ghost

I expected more from the treehouse. It was closed for so long. Did they had handicap access? There will be an initial rush to see the updated version and then it will quickly return to an A ticket attraction that just takes up space. That said, it is sandwiched between POC and Indy, so there probably isn't much they can put there. I'm surprised they didn't add food or dining tables (for Bengal BBQ) on the ground floor. It would be cool to dine under the treehouse.

The Disney Skyliner at Walt Disney World will be closed for routine maintenance starting Jan. 16.

Closed Jan. 16-21:
- Pop Century/Art of Animation > Caribbean Beach
- Caribbean Beach > Disney's Hollywood Studios

Closed Jan. 16-27:
- Caribbean Beach > Riviera Resort > EPCOT
