I'll be down there this weekend and plan to use it - and I've rented an ECV. We have a lot of park hopping planned so I hope they don't have too many kinks to work out - lol!

We are planning to use this next week...I had turf toe surgery in October and will be in a wheelchair per Doctor's orders. Any opportunity to save time/steps is welcome!

yes $24 for up to 7 days and you must have park hopper

Yes, you need a park hopper. Guests using the Express bus get picked up and dropped off backstage inside the parks. Without a parkhopper, you couldn't enter the second park - not even to upgrade your ticket.

I have nothing but good things to say about the new bus option. We used it for our 3 day weekend trip (Dec. 10-12) and it definitely cut down on the wait times. Just not having to go through security lines and bag check was a huge savings. CM's were great about letting us know when the next bus was coming (if one had just left we might stay in the park and get a snack or what not). I had no problems using an ECV and was loaded the same way (first). The busses were never full or close to full. I was never loaded in after the bus already had people in it (if I arrived after it had gotten there) just as would be for the regular bus.

I'd love to have this option when we come back in July.

So you had to wait the half hour for the next bus to arrive? Even if the bus wasn't full?

Well only once did we show up to catch the bus when it had just left - so we waited the full 30 mins for the next one. We had asked the CM's after arriving in the park at what time does the bus from here go to "X" and they told us something like "at 20 mins and 50 mins after the hour" so that made it sort of easy to plan to arrive 5-10 mins before the bus was scheduled to leave. I'll admit I'm not sure if we did that every time though - maybe we were just lucky but sometimes it felt like the bus came just after we showed up.

Did they call to get another bus right there (like in a few minutes) or did you have to wait the cycle (30 minutes) for the next scheduled bus?

Form what I hear the busses are not full So I think if the buss was there they would just have people move out of the handily cap set. Now they do take you back stage and if the CM that takes you back stage has left I can see you having to wait wether in a wheel chair ECV or not

The bus that left did depart just as we got there so no they didn't call another bus to come immediately. We waited the full 30 minutes for the next scheduled bus.

Most Disney buss can take 2 o belive if you can fold the wheel chair and it dose not need to be tied down then that dose not count as the 2

I think I'm more confused - did you get there when a bus was loading or when it was leaving?

My goodness - well - let's see. To the best of my memory they walked us back and the bus was still there but then pulled away. We didn't actually get all the way up next to the bus before it left. Since you are escorted back to the bus it isn't like we could just run for it as you're sort of like duckings following the CM back there so we saw the last of the people (or perhaps last person) get on the bus and it leave as we were being escorted back. It seems like as we were going back (and could see the bus but were still some distance away) at some point before we were there the CM stopped and said we couldn't make it - then it pulled away. I'm not clear on why the CM took us back to try to catch it to begin with.

I can't be more specific than that - we'd need to pull the security camera footage.
