Disney Transport from/to Airport

All our past cruises we have driven and parked at Port Canaveral.

This time we are flying into Orlando the night before and staying at Marriott SpringHill Suites at the Airport.

We have booked Disney transport from/to Airport.

I assume we will need to get ourselves from hotel back to the airport (i.e. they don't loop around nearby hotels)...… does Disney have a specific area? Where is it?

On the return our flight is not until 1pm so do you get to choose the bus you leave on?

When do Disney tell you what times your allocated bus departs?

You need to catch the bus from the terminal. They do not stop elsewhere. The DCL bus area is on ground level on the B side of the airport. It’s just before the Magical Express area.

If you are heading to MCO, they do not assign you a specific bus or departure time. You can stay on the ship as long as they’ll let you and there will be a bus there to get you to the airport. They only assign departure times if you are heading to WDW.

How will you get from MCO to the Marriott? If they offer an airport shuttle, you can take that back to MCO to meet the DCL bus on embarkation morning. You can show up when you wish; DCL buses from MCO to port are first-come first-served and will run continuously about ever 20 minutes or or sooner if full.

Post-cruise, you’ll be assigned a breakfast time for debarkation day; it is based on your evening MDR seating. Or you can eat at Cabanas. Buses to MCO run continuously as filled. If you aren’t in a rush for a flight, you could take the morning a little slower and be on one of the last buses to depart — all guests must be off the ship by 9am or CMs will be politely guiding you in that direction. DCL has “open” debarkation at Port Canaveral meaning you aren’t assigned a specific time to leave. But there is nothing to do onboard other than eat breakfast, pick up pictures at Shutters, or close out your onboard account with Guest Services. DCL asks that all guests vacate their staterooms by 8am and be off the ship by 9am.
