Disney Wedding Pavilion Officiants

Hi there I am having a little bit of trouble finding an officiant for my wedding. We are Catholics but since we are not getting married in a catholic church we are unable to have a father marry us which is ok we are looking for a non denominational officiant to perform our ceremony. I was looking on youtube and came across the officiant that did Joseph and Emily Scaglione Disney Wedding Video if you type that in on google it will come up does anybody know who he is? and if he is non denominational/ a rev or what have you?

It's not Disney that doesn't allow Priests- it's the Catholic Church- it's their rule not Disney's, catholic weddings can only be held inside Catholic Churches. That being said, I do know someone who had a wedding outside a church here in NY and she hired a priest. It just wasn't an "official" catholic ceremony.

Emily's wedding was right before mine at the WP (she had the 2:30 ceremony and we had the 5:00 on November 2, 2012), and we both used Rev Tim Herring. I cannot say enough good things about him. He was wonderful. I am catholic but my husband is not, which is one reason we considered a wedding in Disney. Rev Tim met with us before our planning session to get to know us a bit, which made our ceremony feel more personal, which was a concern I had. We were able to have a ceremony structured like a catholic ceremony without the liturgy of the Eucharist, but we had a lot of flexibility with readings and it was exactly what we wanted. Rev Tim really made my husband feel comfortable and he's very funny (dry, sarcastic sense of humor).

We used Teresa Knox for our vow renewal. She was great! My husband is Jewish and I am Methodist, so we wanted someone non-denominational. I work for a Catholic Church, and the previous poster is correct. Priests are not allowed to marry anyone outside of the church.

Being catholic myself I wanted to have the closest cermony just like a catholic ceremony. So Rev. Day sent me pamplets of all types of ceremonies. I was able to add and take away and create a Catholic ceremony as best as I could.. Rev Day is wonderful and is a pleasure
