They opened the San Diego Wild Animal park too... i think the SD zoo too but not entire sure about that one. I saw the Disney Food Blogs video and post about the wild animal park when it opened which is why I had hope that DL would open.
I went to one of the local zoos here in the Netherlands and for most parts it was great, it was nice and quiet, plenty of space. The zoo is open. My dad took my daughter there on Tuesday. He said they practically had the place to themselves... I think they are only open at 30% capacity. It makes me wonder what low capacity will look like at Disneyland.
I thought no EMH since WDW is not but it is still on the website. Thanks. At least there would be Halloween decorations.I haven't seen any confirmed info about any of those things from Disney unfortunately.
I would assume no EMH since WDW is not doing that, but we really don't know yet. WDW also cancelled their Halloween parties, but I would assume they will still decorate for Halloween....
I really don't know, DL is SO different than WDW....I wish they would at least give us a little bit of info.I thought no EMH since WDW is not but it is still on the website. Thanks. At least there would be Halloween decorations.
I just got off the phone with Disneyland Hotel. They are hoping to have the Extra Magic Hours even with the new policies in place but I was told to call back and check their websites and the Parks Blog when they reopen.I really don't know, DL is SO different than WDW....I wish they would at least give us a little bit of info.
That is interesting! Can't wait to officially find out!I just got off the phone with Disneyland Hotel. They are hoping to have the Extra Magic Hours even with the new policies in place but I was told to call back and check their websites and the Parks Blog when they reopen.
I don't mean to sound unsympathetic to those with actual medical conditions that make mask wearing difficult or impossible, but if you're that compromised, now is not a good time to be in a situation with so much potential exposure. Maybe skip Disneyland until masks aren't needed or there's a vaccine?
ETA: And if you just don't WANT to wear a mask, either accept the rules or don't plan a trip to the parks.
I get that. I had a child for whom that would be true. But if a person, for whatever reason, is unable to wear a mask, then I still say that now is not the time for them to go, both for their own health and the health of others.A lot of people with developmental disabilities have a hard time wearing a mask. There can be many reasons besides physical health that make mask wearing hard to do.

Very smart move. Because as of right now- still- anyone can book a room at one of the two hotels that were supposed to open starting 7/23 right now. I just checked to see if booking dates were still available after their Announcement on Wednesday and they are. ( checked PPH) That’s really weird considering it was not possible to book prior to them announcing when they would start opening the hotelsJust received a call from Walt Disney Travel Company checking time see if we wanted to modify or cancel our July 24-30 vacation. I told the CM that I would hold onto those dates for now and will wait until California allows theme parks to reopen and when DL announces an updated opening date.
Yes. Sunday is the day WDW releases the allotment for regular ticket holders. All park days should be open to book for regular ticketed guests. And my next question, are they setting aside dates for ticket holders too
Me either. The Cast Member that I spoke with also assured me that there would of course be Halloween and seasonal decorations but he did caution me not to expect the normal offerings for Halloween, He said the priority is getting the parks open safely. That is interesting! Can't wait to officially find out!
