I have never noticed these before at any MK resort......:confused3

I vote all Club Lounges shall have Mickey shaped sugar cubes!!! :thumbsup2

Checked into BWI yesterday afternoon around 4. Didn’t notice the room ready text until we had been escorted upstairs. I had a balance due, so had to stop to pay that anyway. My gift cards did not work (had 2 @$1000 each). Small panic set in, but they were great and called and worked it out. I guess it was tied to the app/website issues they are having. Were given room 4202...at the very end of the hallway. I inquired about a possible boardwalk view (which had been requested). She offered us one starting today, which we gladly accepted. We went to lounge for a bite to eat and then headed to Epcot. Back at hotel around 8:30. LOL, we couldn’t figure out how to get back into the hotel from the boardwalk. Stopped back in lounge for some desserts and then to our room. The room is very nice, just SO far down. Packed up this morning and dropped our bags at bell services until our new room is ready. So far...really liking this resort!

Thanks for checking in. Glad they were able to change your room and get you closer to the lounge. BWI CL really is a great club, glad you are enjoying it :).

Enjoy - we truly love the BWI - the CMs, the food, the Boardwalk view. Enjoy your stay!

::yes::

Quick update: new room is right across from the lounge...king even. Haven’t seen it yet (at MK today) but think we will be happy.

We had room 4230 this past June....loved it as it was just 2 doors down from the lounge. Enjoy your new room :goodvibes.

Any tea lovers here?
I am having a hard time buying Twinings Teas offered at GF
I could only find it on Twinings UK website. https://www.twinings.co.uk/gifts/discovery-collection/golden-tipped-english-breakfast-pyramid

Twinings teas I got at Target are packaged differently and taste differently
Or is it because those tea bags were sprinkled with pixie dust??? :stir:

I checked Amazon, your tea is available there. It ships from Great Britain. I've ordered things via Amazon from Germany and GB with no problem. :flower:

I really liked those pyramid teas at AKL club, too, but the price on Amazon was a little too expensive for just tea! I don’t mind spending thousands on a club room, but $14 for a single box of tea is just way too much! :rotfl2::thumbsup2

I have to agree with @GADisneyDad14 - that we debate this every time we go to Disney. We always do split stays - usually an EPCOT resort and either the Poly or the CR. One year we couldn't decide so we did both - the CR and the Poly. This past summer we chose the CR because we had the ability to do the CR Tower Club.

We agree that the Poly has such a relaxing feel. We love the beach area at night and like you for some reason we swim late night at the Poly but not at the CR. Now that our kids are older the CR pool is fine for us - not as nice as the Poly's but perfect for a afternoon break. We swam a lot this summer at the CR and really enjoyed that the pool wasn't that crowded.

If we let our kids pick it would be the CR hands down. They love the ability to walk to CR - on our last day as my DH and I were packing they had the ability to walk over to CR to buy something they wanted and got back quickly.

I also agree that we have had some great CM interaction at the CR. The Poly is hit or miss - but usually a miss. To be able to pick the best of each CL lounge - one can dream. :dogdance: Let us know what you decide.

Well, after weeks of going back and forth between Poly and CR Club Level, I totally went off track and booked a 7 night Med Cruise on Disney Magic instead. Lol. Actually, I had finally settled on Poly (mainly because I just love that pool and how the club lounge is right there) but then my husband and I decided we liked the idea of the Med Cruise. Full disclosure, I received a travel grant to go to Italy this coming Summer and we decided the cruise would be the best way to see a ton of Europe but still keep it kid friendly for our eight year old. We had been looking into Adventures by Disney but the cruise ended up being a bit of a better deal and jumped on it. Thanks again for all the info. Will come in handy next time we are debating CL stays at WDW!

OPINIONS, PLEASE! :yay:
Considering planning a short, four night CL stay with just hubby and I. This is in addition to our trip to OKW in the spring and another one we're planning to RPC with the kids in 2020 or 2021, lol.
We have stayed Sugarloaf and RPC and LOVE LOVE LOVE them, and want to stay in one of the MK area resorts, but I'm open to trying something different this time. I'd love an easy-breezy adult vacation style, so I think we'd eat in the lounge a lot more than last trip. Therefore, a great variety of CL offerings would be great! I would also like a quieter resort.
Considering:
1. Sugarloaf (Already know we were happy here and at RPC, quiet and nice food variety, but no view from SL lounge!)
2. Poly Standard CL (More limited and themed food offerings, concerned I wouldn't get a room with a balcony, probably not as quiet of a resort, but nice lounge view!)
3. WL Standard CL (Quiet but tiny balcony, wonderful but limited and very themed food offerings.)

P.S. Obviously the lounges that have the Mickey-shaped sugar 'cubes' take priority.
P.P.S. I have also at times considered BWI or CR for an adult trip... Any input there? I asked a CM via chat how to book the Tower Club and they said it doesn’t exist, lol!
THANK YOU in advance! :daisy:

I think your assessments of the MK resorts are all spot on (we haven’t stayed WL club). Poly had the amazing views, but otherwise was a bit meh to us. I think you’re onto something with BWI if you’re willing to give up the MK area. It’s an amazing place, and I think it works really well for an adults only trip!
