Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Hi there! I was wondering if I can get an opinion if paying for the extra fast passes is worth it at Club level this August if I am at Disney for four days. Thank you!
Hi! Yes - for us it’s definitely worth it and the only reason we’re staying club level is so we have the opportunity to purchase the extra FPs at the 90 day mark when everything is available. It makes our whole trip so much more civilized. Part of the fun of going to wdw for us is going to the restaurants so we actually don’t use the lounge much at all.

With the paid FPs and being able to book all 6 per day ride at the 90 day mark, we ride what we want when we want without waiting in lines and can plan our ADRs easily without wondering when a SDD or FOP FP May be available, etc.

Our trips are short - usually 3-4 days (1-3x/year) and they’re always during the busy times since our kids are in school.

For our next trip, this is what we have lined up. Without the purchase FPs, we would never be able to do all of this due to the tiering and availability at 60 days. We also don’t have to rope drop or worry about getting to the parks early to avoid lines. This allows us to sleep in after the VAH party or have a leisurely breakfast.

That looks like a great plan. I see you did Oga's at 930. Any reason so early? I'm having a hard time scheduling it so any advice would be appreciated. We don't go until August and I would love if they dod fp for this. We are not morning people. I made one oga for evening and one for 1230 to get out of the heat. Maybe I should consider morning.

Thanks!! When we went to Oga’s in the afternoon in November, I wasn’t in the mood for a sweet drink so I just got a beer. 2 of my teens were with me and they didn’t like the blue milk/cookie drinks that they ordered... neither of them finished those and it was kind of expensive for that experience.

We weren’t going to go again, but when I noticed that they had coffee and breakfast treats, I made the morning reservation. My husband and 18yr old son will be with us this time, so they’ll get a chance to check it out and we’ll be able to escape the morning crowds and have some coffee, iced tea and cinnamon buns. After all the hustle of getting to the park before opening for a BG, possibly rope dropping something and dealing with crowds, it may be nice to have a seat and a cappuccino in a festive Star Wars themed place together.

I figured that 9:30 was a good time - after our tsm fp with time before our SDD fp ends. With sci fi (a hs must-do for us) at 2:30, we should be hungry and ready for another break by then.

Thanks. That makes sense. I think I'm going to make an early one in case boarding groups continue into the summer. I'm really dreading the craziness of it. We are NOT morning people.

I just went to book for August. They didn't have breakfast, only lunch. 10:05 was the 1st adr. I made 1035, figuring I could do 1st 2 fastpasses and still have time to make the 11 one. That means no cinammon roll😔 HS is a 9am opening my whole week with 1 morning of emh.

For a short trip I think it's worth it for someone that hasn't been to Disney in a while. I used it last August on a trip with my niece and her husband. It had been 5 years since their last trip and with so many big rides that were new to them, I wanted to make sure they didn't miss them. On my solo trips I don't bother because I go a few times each year.

What I thought really made it worthwhile was the ability to book the 3 CL passes regardless of tier levels.
All of these reasons plus the Disney Signature Services allow you to book paid FPs at 90 days and will also book your regular FPs. To not have to wake up at dawn on the 60 day mark AND to be able to ignore tiers... we love them . (my grandkids get all the best attractions )

Kerry, or anyone that knows, what beer do they have at BWI?
Anyone know the beer at WL and SL? Maybe types of beer will help make my resort decision. Thanks !!!:rotfl::confused:

The new CityWorks Eatery & Pourhouse located next to NBA Experience Disney Springs has an impressive selection including a daily beer board that changes daily.
Their menu is online. Looks like a fun place and something new to try.

Just know that it changes often. They'll always have that horrible domestic stuff, Bud Light or the like but the good stuff changes out. Pretty much every trip there's new beers in there.
Thanks, good point.

That sounds fun. Something else to check out. Never enough time to do everything.

Countdown is getting serious. 15 days until poly CL! :flower1:

Hope you have a great trip :wizard:.

We stayed in RPC at the GF Feb 1-8, and had a very nice trip. We got our room request, were met at the curb and escorted up, and didn't have any real issues or problems (other than MB issues, but this time they related more to the parks than the resort room and elevator). Overall it was a wonderful trip, both in regards to RPC and to the GF. While we didn't have any problems, there was also nothing that really wowed us or knocked our socks off, but that's really ok, it's just always a nice surprise when something amazing happens or someone just goes above and beyond.

Thanks for your review. Glad you had a nice trip :flower3:.

My plan had been to do GF Sugarloaf but now I am reconsidering. I’ve been watching videos of the BWI and am impressed with the offerings. It looks more kid friendly. Any thoughts for anyone who has stayed both?

I love the GF, but I wasn't impressed with SL. BWI CL, on the other hand, was amazing!! I have no desire to return to SL, but BWI CL is definitely one I will return to (we actually have 3 rooms booked under the BB for December). If I had to choose between the two, it would be BWI CL without hesitation :).

All Disney resorts are kid friendly!

There is no comparison between BWI CL and GF SL......IMO

BWI has much more to offer in just about every way.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Hi there! I was wondering if I can get an opinion if paying for the extra fast passes is worth it at Club level this August if I am at Disney for four days. Thank you!

Hello! I just booked my extra fastpasses for a 4 day trip in May. Here's what I was able to get each day
Day 1 - Slinky Dog, Smugglers Run, Runaway Railroad, Nemo and Friends, Living with the Land, Frozen
Day 2 - Soarin, Turtle Talk, Pixar Film Fest, Test Track, Navi River Journey, Flights of Passage
Day 3 - Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Seven Dwarves, Soarin, Test Track, Frozen
Day 4 - Flights of Passage, Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Little Mermaid, Seven Dwarves

Without the paid fastpasses, and since it's such a short trip, there's a high likelihood that I wouldn't be able to get fastpass at all for Slinky Dog, Smugglers Run, Runaway Railroad, and Flights of Passage. Let alone do some of those twice. With a short trip, CL and extra fastpass is the only way to do it, unless you're adding after hours parties OR unless you're not fussed on getting on the more popular rides. To me, it's worth the money.

Just beginning to think about a future trip. It will be a short trip during Spring break, so I want to take advantage of the CL extra FPs. Looking at GDT, but as I’m searching random dates look at pricing differences, I notice that the standard CL room is rarely available. Are there not many standard CL rooms available? Wondering if I should book room only ahead of packages coming out. Anyone have any insight on this room category?

I’m also hoping the early morning BG madness is over when we go but I’m planning to drag everyone to HS early so we can hopefully check out RotR.

i feel like the having the option to purchase FPs and book all at 90 days was such a step forward (no more waking up early and dealing with long lines and crowds all day). Now we’re back to waking up very early and dealing with crowds again!
