The were the dinner time offerings at the Boardwalk lounge yesterday. We are really enjoying the lounge!

FYI: I was told by a CL CM that AKL CL changed their evening apps menu. The desserts look new (to me) as well, but I haven’t been here since last Dec. I’ll post those next.

That would be the first change in a decade, lol. I’ll believe it when I see it!

We actually already left! Over at Boardwalk now!

So, I asked if buttered chicken was being served Wednesday night. (I was really looking forward to the white rice & tomato soup!) The CM said he doesn’t think they’re serving it anymore!! I asked what he meant and he said their new menu was being introduced that day. He went back and grabbed the new menu sheet to show me, and sure enough - no buttered chicken at all. Looked like some stews and other interesting looking things. I’m pretty sure the dinner Wednesday night was Lamb Stew. I wish I asked to take a picture. Unless he showed me the wrong sheet, or just a temporary menu for the rest of the week, but I guess we’ll have to wait for the next person to stay there to know for sure.

Awww…sorry we missed you, but Boardwalk sounds perfect for NYE!

It’s still the old food in your photos, but I will report back when we arrive since I’ll have to take photos of the ingredients binder images anyway for my files if they changed the offerings (it makes dealing with food allergies much easier).

Yes, that’s what’s so confusing!! I didn’t want to bother him any further. He was at my table with a huge notebook and a bunch of menu sheets

Hopefully you’ll get some additional info! Sad I missed you!!

We did not stay for evening apps Wednesday. Our room at BWV ended up being ready at noon, so we left early and didn’t feel like going back.

Desserts last night. Chocolate covered strawberrit’s, a pineapple cheesecake cream puff thing, macarons, plus ice cream tub with toppings and other treats,

I know it was just a typo but this has me wishing for a miniature Strawberry called a Strawberrit. Just think, tiny bite size strawberries grown stemless to boot of course. The entire strawberry covered in chocolate in one awesome bite!

Oh appies!
The chicken Wellington was tasty! I loved the sauce ! I was chatting with the chef and mentioned how much I enjoyed it.

Then as I walked away they brought out a new platter . I noticed the roast beef so grabbed that and the chef gave me a cup of sauce for it.
