What kind of filter does the coffee maker take? We have a cone filter we could bring or else we'd have to bring/buy basket filters.

We just returned from our first stay at the Poly and all I can say is I don't know how we will ever stay anywhere else!!
We received pixie dust and were upgraded to club level!!
Every CM we met were the most pleasant and helpful!!
It was an amazing experience!!
My kids are also now saying we have to come back to the Poly too!

They are basket style filters 8-12 cup. Wish I could send you mine -I had to purchase a whole package. They're inexpensive at least!

Just wanted to clarify that this is for the villa rooms (studio, bungalow) only. The hotel rooms are not a pot style, they are single cup style.

Just booked my first ever stay at the Poly for this September! Going Sept 2-9 with my Mom for her birthday! Will be a fun mother/daughter trip. We can't wait to stay here, our dream resort!

You will love it! Don't forget you can get Dole Whips on site at the Pineapple Lanai. Also, if you go to the Kona Cafe, I was told in November that it is now reservation only, so be sure and make an ADR for it.

Yes it's not bad coffee - would prefer the full size coffee maker but if I'm stuck with the hotel style individual maker at least the Joffrey's packs are pretty good!

In looking at the DVC studio rooms-there's no dresser right? We always unpack for longer trips and I would hate having to live out of the suitcase for that long. Where do you store your clothes?

I'm staying in a studio this April for 6 nights with 2 little ones. The lack of storage for clothes has me worried so I did a little research and found some good tips.

I ordered 2 of these for the closet, one for each kiddo.

Even though we aren't staying DVC I had considered getting one of the closet organizers. In a standard non-DVC room there are just 6 drawers. Normally we divide those by 3 people and it's ok, but with a 4th adult I'm not sure we will have room. Thanks for the link!

The overdoor organizer worked out wonderfully for us on our last time in a studio BCV, it was our first trip but I would never go without one now. With my mom staying as a 3rd adult on this trip with our 2 kids making a total of 5 in the room, I might even bring 2. One for the bathroom door for sunscreen & toiletries and one for the closet door for sunglasses, accessories, kids stuff, & general catchall. That closet organizer might work out well for us as well.

Does Captain Cooks have the Coke Freestyle machines? Also, is there a drink refill station at any other area at the Poly, like the Oasis pool bar or near the lava pool bar? Just wondering. Thanks!
