Do 3 years old go free to Disneyland Park?

:yay:

Hi I'm new to this board & having read previous threads, thought one of you knowledgeable people may be able to answer my question.

We've booked to go to DLP, staying at the Dream Castle Hotel on the 10th July for 4 days. Whilst we are away my twins daughters will be 2, however, on our last day in Disney they will be 3. :sad1:

Now I've read that children under 3 go free, however, over 3 you have to pay for admittance into the park. However, I have also read that this yr children under 7 yrs go free.

We are staying at the Dream Castle which isn't one of the DLP hotels, so wondered whether I'd still have to pay for the girls admittance into the park on the day they are 3. We booked the trip direct through Eurostar.

Many thanks.

Any help would be so appreciated. Thanks. :flower3:

Hi Cashie and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

I think if you book the package then the age of the children when you start the holiday is what matters. However if you are paying separately then your 3 year old will be due to pay on the last day. I know what my kids would be like... telling everyone how old they so as unfair as it seems I'd buy a ticket for the last day :)

Hi

We brought our daughter just a few days before her 3rd birthday. We weren't going to pay for her, but brought her passport with us in case anyone asked us for proof of age, but they didn't. So you should be OK.

If you and Hubbie/wife/partner buy an annual pass each you could ask if you are able get one for the girls free since it is so close to their birthday. It doesn't hurt to ask ?:goodvibes

We go in September, and as far as I am aware our son, who will be 3 is totally free. We booked through a German Travel Agent and I'm sure that we have only paid for me and dh. We are staying in a disney hotel so maybe this is why he is free? I don't know! It says on all of the ads that kids under 7 go free.

I thought all kids under 7 went free this year. This question came up recently in another thread and there was some confusion there as well.
Unfortunately DD is 7 so isnt eligible anyhow but as a matter of interest can anyone confirm if all under 7s go free or only if you book a package?

We had to pay for our 4 year old, but it was on an agent discount so we only paid £35 for her for 2 nights B+B and 2 days in the parks and the 15th anniversary discount didn't apply.

I'm sure normally at Disneyland Paris an Infant is classed as being aged under 3 but i think it is at the date of arrival, however as others have said this year kids under 7 stay and enter the park free of charge.

Welcome to the DIS Cashie

According to the latest brochure, the Kids under 7 offer applies to "all hotels featured in the brochure" - therefore your stay at the Dream Castle qualifies you. But, in answer to your question Small World, passes and accomodation must be booked as a package. :)

Thanks Bexx.
As I say it doesnt affect us anyhow but I was sure Id read somewhere that all under 7s were free.:confused3

When we were there at Easter there seemed to be a lot of French people there with young children (3-7yr olds) who I assumed were local day visitors taking advantage of getting their kids in free. Certainly listening in to some conversations in queues confirmed they were local.

There seemed to be a lot more of this age grp about this year compared to last year

Under 7's also get free annual passes if their parents buy them this year even if you are not staying in any of the listed hotels.

We have two children. One is aged 3 the other is aged 5.

Both went free last week.
