I think it's highly unlikely. Walt didn't approve of it, and that attitude has stayed with the company for years.Another thread about Disney building a park in Singapore made me wonder if Disney would ever partner with or somehow get into the casino gaming business, such as including a casino on a DCL ship...
Walt didn't approve of cast members having facial hair, piercings (on males), or tattoos either, and well, there you have it...I think it's highly unlikely. Walt didn't approve of it, and that attitude has stayed with the company for years.
And look how long it took for those changes.Walt didn't approve of cast members having facial hair, piercings (on males), or tattoos either, and well, there you have it...
No, not on any of the current ships or the upcoming Treasure.Do the Disney Cruise lines have casinos? If not I could see this. I don't see them adding casinos to the theme park resorts.
Well yes, they had Miramax which was run by the Weinstein's. Kind of funny that Pulp Fiction which was distributed by Miramax might be considered a Disney movie.Didn't they do that a number of years ago when one of their movie divisions wanted to release some R-rated movies?
The new Encore Casino in Boston is very heavily targeted toward the Asian market and gambling is a big part of that so I agree with you. It’s a cruise ship geared towards the Asian market and supposedly it’s an expectation that gambling is part of the experience
But once changes are made, and the sky doesn’t fall, change becomes easier and happens faster. And look how long it took for those changes.
Coming soon to the France pavilion at Epcot: "Royale With Cheese!"Kind of funny that Pulp Fiction which was distributed by Miramax might be considered a Disney movie.
Yes, Encore is definitely that! Looks like we're both in MA!Well yes, they had Miramax which was run by the Weinstein's. Kind of funny that Pulp Fiction which was distributed by Miramax might be considered a Disney movie.
