Does anyone have a tried & true hot crab dip recipe you'd be willing to share?

I'm "assigned" to bring crab dip to a family function, but I've never made it before. If anyone has a recipe they're willing to share, I would appreciate it.

I made this for Thanksgiving and we all loved it. pirate:pirate: :snooty: I will be making it again for New Years Eve.

I made some changes.

* Instead of the parmesan cheese, I used white cheddar.

* Instead of the Old Bay, I used Tony's creole seasoning (to taste, its spicy)

* Cut back a bit on mayo

* I heated in the microwave since my turkey was in the oven

These were all based off of the reviews.

PS: Please dont mind the smilies I added. I am typing right next to my 3 year old and he wanted me to add them. :)

Crab Dip

1 pkg cream cheese
1 can crab meat
chopped onion to taste
1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
Lemon juice to taste
1/2 cup Mayo
Parmesan cheese (to sprinkle on top)

Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes in a 9x9 casserole
We usually serve this with toasted party pumpernickle bread

(If you're making for a bigger crowd, you might want to double)

8 oz. real crab meat
3 tablespoons butter
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Put cream cheese and butter in pan or small crockpot and melt slowly. Heat until cheese is melted and blended with butter. Add crab, Worcestershire and Tobasco sauces and mix well. Serve hot with crackers.

Mine is a little different than the ones already mentioned.

8 oz cream cheese, softened with 1 T. milk
6 1/2 oz can crab meat
2 T. finely diced onion
1/2 t creamed horseradish
1/2 t salt, dash pepper
Mix together. Sprinkle the top with 1/3 c toasted almonds. Bake in casserole dish at 350 for 20 minutes.
