Hi, everyone! Well, since this year's Disney trip never materialized, I figured I would go ahead and start a PTR for our 2012 trip in the hopes that in some way, it resembles a Disney trip!
As many of you know, I have a hard time making decisions in regards to just about anything vacation-related -- resorts, places to go, when to go -- you name it, and I will second-guess myself all the way up to the day of departure. I am sure 2012 will be no different.

Here's a quick intro to the cast of characters:
Me: I'm Jackie -- a 37-year-old middle school teacher. I have been teaching Language Arts and Literature for the past twelve years and am currently working on my Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In fact, I have class this afternoon, but here I am playing on the DIS. Disney has been a part of my life ever since I was little, and nothing makes me happier than driving under that Disney World sign!
Charles: My husband of fifteen years. He loves soccer and coaching our middle school girls' soccer team. I have been slowly brainwashing him to love Disney as much as I do. It has been a long road, but I think he is slowly coming around.
Chelsea: Our thirteen-year-old, almost fourteen-year-old. For those of you who remember being that age or have children that age, you know exactly what life is like with her these days.
She doesn't seem to think Disney is quite as cool as she used to and pushed for a different locale for our summer trip -- we are hoping she outgrows this phase soon. 
Connor: Our eleven-year-old who loves video games and his hermit crabs (more on those later on). He wants to be a Disney Imagineer, loves to read, and build things with his Legos. He keeps us laughing most days with his comments and antics but was very put out that we decided to go somewhere other than Disney this summer.
