Does the Arrival Day matter in summer

I just got a quote for Sunday to Sunday trip. Should I try and change the days to like friday to Friday? Would that affect flight prices or crowd levels do you thinK?

Flight price is lowest if you travel mid week, i.e. Tuesday or Wednesday. Weekend flights are no doubt the highest. Crowd level in summer is high any day of the week. Some parks might be less than others. Our arrival day was on a Sunday Aug 7 and we went to MK that afternoon. The park was crowded. However my friend went to AK on a Sunday and the park was empty.

We always travel Tuesdays or Wednesdays, and use easyWDW crowd calendars to pick park days (with a few exceptions, we usually end with a full MK day whether it is recommended or not). Our past two summer trips have been very easy to manage.
