Okay, so September 4th is the Paid in Full day. With that in mind, I say we make this Fish Extender group official on that date.

It's been weeks (months?) since there has been any serious discussion about this group and I'm sure a few people have moved on. So, I'm requesting that everyone confirm that they still want to participate. By my count, we have 12 DIS members on our list:

If you want to continue as part of this group, please respond by September 4th so we are sure you are still interested. That's a little over a week from now.

If you can, it'd be nice if you can verify your person count and maybe throw in some interests for each person or perhaps their favorite Disney character. If someone wants to make their gifts more personal, they have some info to go off of.

Finally, it would also be appreciated to let us know if you are not going to participate. That way we don't feel so guilty about scratching you off the list.

So, basically, if you are reading this and your name is on the list, let us know where you stand. If your name isn't on the list and you want it added, speak up before the 4th.

I've added everyone to the list that has responded this week.

Last week, I suggested that we close the sign-ups on the 4th of September. However, I personally don't have any issue letting people sign up as we get closer to our sail date. So, I'm going to leave that decision up to the group.

If you need time to get your gifts prepared, then we can close the group. If you don't care, let us know and we'll leave things open for a while longer. I don't want to add unnecessary stress but I'd also hate to exclude anyone who finds this group a little late.

Thanks for responding. This is my first Disney Cruise. I originally thought the FE was just for kids. Please do not add us. I'm so sorry for any confusion. My bad for not understanding how it works.

So, that brings us to 13 cabins with 25 adults and 19 children. We've never established any guidelines for how we were going to do this, but I envisioned a small gift for each person on the list. That means we'll need to pack 44 gifts. Depending on what everyone has in mind, this could be an issue. So, unless anyone has any other ideas, I'm going to say that we close the list.

With that in mind, we can always create two lists if more people show up. If anyone thinks that 13 cabins/44 people is too much, we can split the list we have. If everyone loves the idea of lots of people in the group, then we can add more. I'm easy and open to suggestions.

I thought it was supposed to be a gift per person prer night. Is that not correct? Every article I've read gave me that impression.

I think 44 people is definately enough and I would also recommend splitting the group.

We're flying & can't possibly pack 44 gifts, we had planned a couple of gifts for the cabins as a whole & small individual gifts for one night. If we. Need to do 44 gifts, I don't know if we will be able to participate due to packing concerns. On our cruise last year we did a combination of cabin & individual gifts and our FE was split into 2 groups because several people were flying & couldn't pack so many gifts.
