Hello! I tried posting this message yesterday, but I must've done something incorrectly since it hasn't appeared on the thread. I have book my flights and will be flying out of San Francisco on October 1 and landing at Heathrow on October 2 at 6:52 am with my return out of Charles de Gaulle on October 14. I'm using DVC points for our pre and post stays. Before the adventure, we'll be staying at the Royal Garden Hotel in London. The inventory for the post-stay in not yet available.
Some folks expressed interest in setting up an informal chat group on Skype to talk about the trip, sharing our thoughts and previous trip experiences, and plan for the times when we're on our own. This was very helpful for our China ABD Trip last year. How about setting up our first Skype call for Sunday, February 17 at 1 pm (Pacific Time)? On Skype, I am mouseketeer.michael.
Looking forward to chatting with folks!
We arrive on the 2nd as well at 7:25am. Leaving on the 13th.
Looking into the possibility of going over to Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) or up to the WB (Harry Potter) Studio. We’d also love to arrange a high tea if anyone else would be interested.
I’ll try to make the Skype!
I'll be there! I'm doing research this week for airfare and extracurriculars in Paris.

A friend who enjoys tea as much as I highly recommends Fortnum & Mason for high tea. It's the official tea of the Queen and my friend claims it is "the best tea on earth."
