Soon it was time for my parents to change into travelling clothes, get their bags and head down to the lobby.
We waited out the front for the ME with them, Mum not believeing it was all over.
When the bus turned up and we said goodbye she burst into tears! Which set me off too. Poor Mumsie - she really could have done with a few more Disney days.
Once I'd pulled myself back together we decided to have a dip in the pool, so we went upstairs and got changed and then headed back down to the Sugarloaf pool, I know it's not the main pool, but I find it prettier for some reason.
Well, after about 10 minutes in the pool, the sky went black and the lifeguard told everyone we had to get out! We just about managed to wrap towels around us and dash across to the little secret lift that took us up to our room.
When we got back in this was the view from our window!
Nevermind, we had the nicest hotel on property to relax in, and didn't even need to go outside to get to the lounge!
We took our time getting washed and dressed (me so much so that Jack almost fell asleep:
Then we headed out to the lounge, grabbed some drinks and snacks and then wandered around the main building a little.
I bought yet more Pink Sugar flavoured stuff in Basin, Jack ummed and ahhed over a belt in the mens clothing store but then didn't get it, and we bought a beautiful painting of the WP, a GF T-shirt and a GF pin in the Sandy Cove store.
This is the print - we now really wish we'd gotten the matching GF one - next time.
When we got back to the room we had messages on our phones, Dave & Karen and Janey & Neil were thinking of heading to the MK for the evening, so we said we'd join them - it'd be rude not to.
We had dinner from the delicious club lounge offerings, and then headed over to the MK (via Sandy Cove for Ponchos for Jack, Dave, Karen, Janey and Neil) to meet everyone.
Luckily enough we seemed to all bump into each other in the central hub near the emporium, everyone donned their ponchos (it was still raining loads, but not windy) and we were read to have a magical evening!
Next update soon - I don't 'have photos of this evening online, so I'll add them before updating.
