I was surprised how much we loved Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas (Jan 2020) after sailing 5x with Disney.

We've sailed both DCL and RCL frequently. We are Platinum on DCL and Diamond+ on RCL. Right now we are focusing more on RCL for our cruises. Our first post-covid cruise is scheduled for late October on RCL. Hoping that happens.

Anyway, one thing they didn't mention (or only mentioned it in passing) is the huge price difference between the two. We are spoiled and now sail on RCL in suites. We can get a really nice suite on RCL for probably 2/3rds the price of concierge on DCL. Yes, people will comment about RCL "nickel and dimming" you but we don't find that to be the case. The specialty restaurants on both DCL and RCL do have an up-charge so there's not difference there. The soft-drink issue isn't really a big one for us. We can drink a lot of soft drinks on RCL and still be well below the starting price on DCL.
