Easy last minute ADRs?

My vacation plans may be changing (overbooked, waiting to see if the cruise line picks me for a cancellation offer). If I threw together a last minute Disney trip, what Epcot ADRs are pretty easy to get? I'd think LaCreperie. What else?

Because of the new(ish) cancellation policy there is a ton of same day availability at places you wouldn't necessarily expect. I checked just now and saw the usual suspects (Creperie, Spice Road Table, etc) but also Le Cellier pop up for lunch. Granted we're still in the slow shoulder part of May but you'd be surprised at what you can pull on the day of even if you don't see it in advance.

We got same day at Narcoosees, Jungle Cruise Skipper, and Chef Mickeys for dinner last month, as well as Grand Floridian cafe for lunch. I’m not sure if any of this was because we were staying at VGF; I’ve heard they make more reservations available for hotel guests these days but I’m not sure which restaurants this applies to.

Always walk up to any restaurant you are interested on the day to see if they have any availability. We have been very lucky getting seated same day at even popular restaurant. Sometimes we have had to wait 20-30 minutes, but only you can decide if its worth the wait.

Spice Road is a great option. ( I personally don't get why it is not absolutely slammed all the time, because it is one of our favorites).

So many last minute options that I haven't seen regularly in the past. I hate that people hoard multiple reservations up until the last minute. But the cancellation changes does make it easier to grab a last minute reservation just about anywhere. Even the harder to book places are showing availability on the same day.

We are throwing together a last minute trip around Memorial Day weekend as my son found out yesterday his office is extending the holiday for a few days to have electrical work done. I was pleasantly surprised at what was still available last night for a holiday weekend. The same thing happened in Jan when we were supposed to be at Vero Beach but got bumped to Riviera due to maintenance issues just a few days before check in. Lots of restaurants were still available. You may not get your first choice, but you should find plenty of good options.

Good luck!

Ale and Compass at Yacht Club is a hidden gem, especially for lunch, and is an easy 10 minute walk out the International Gateway at Epcot. We're local, and I often make reservations on only a couple days notice. For fun, I just searched for lunch tomorrow for a party of 4 and got 3 times between 10:55 and 12:20.
