Epic Mickey: 27 new pictures

So theres been a while since talk about this new game by Disney called Epic mickey. I was browsing a well known game forum site and theres 27 pictures on it!! Im going to post them! I can't wait.

A heroic tale of redemption and discovery, Epic Mickey is an action- platforming game featuring the iconic Mickey Mouse in a fantastical adventure inspired by the cartoons of the 1930s and 1940s. Pulled into a warped Disney universe called the Cartoon Wasteland by an evil villain, Mickey finds himself in a world inhabited by the retired and forgotten cartoon characters and attractions from Disney's past. Mickey must use the very elements of himself and the world, paint and paint thinner, to explore the Cartoon Wasteland, find the source of evil that is destroying the land, and redeem his fellow cartoon characters including Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney's first cartoon star and Mickey's resentful half- brother. With visionary game designer Warren Spector behind the title, players choose their own path to defeat supreme evil, face the consequences of those decisions and ultimately free the Cartoon Wasteland.

At first I was not sure about having a really "dark" style game, but I am anxious for this one now

I've noticed that our local Blockbuster is carrying an empty case advertising the future arrival of this game. Definitely looking forward to it, I think the change to Mickey's persona has been taken out of context. Some people say that Disney can't tarnish Mickey's image, but if you look back at Steamboat Willie it's not like he was a saint. I mean, he choked a duck, threw a cat around by his tail (love the fact that a mouse did that) and basically kicked a suckling pig off its mother's teat.

I'm going to buy a Wii just for this game. I love when a Disney game is taken seriously and developed by a good team that knows what it's doing (Kingdom Hearts series). This really looks like it's going to be Epic.

I LOVE IT! I can't wait to play it. I love how they made sure that Mickey's ears are always in that iconic pose regardless of where he is facing. Warren Specter is one of the most well renowned video game designers in the industry and is also a huge disney fan. This should be a must have for any Disney fan.

I'm going to buy a Wii just for this game. I love when a Disney game is taken seriously and developed by a good team that knows what it's doing (Kingdom Hearts series). This really looks like it's going to be Epic.

Actually it is being done by a relatively new studio called Junction Point. But either way, the team is really talented and exceptionally large for a Wii game (125+ people). Should be a blast to play!

Too bad it's not PC compatible. Pete David is writing The Graphic Novel which I'm going to get when it's release at my comics shop.

Glad to hear you're looking forward to it! I'm not sure where you're located, but if you're in New York, you should check out the launch event on November 30! Disney Interactive Studios is holding a huge event at the Disney Store in Times Square, and doors open early at 7am. Warren Spector along with celebrity guests will be there!

Yeah, I'm definitely excited for this game. Heck, I've been excited since I first heard about it. And I must say, I love the fact that the design got changed. I was never too crazy about Mickey's changing appearance.
