In the getting ready photos, why is the makeup lady writing or something on your back?
I opted to have one of my tattoos covered up. It's one I plan on getting redone but didn't have time before the wedding. Because it's only 2 years old and kinda dark, they weren't able to cover it completely but fade it quite a bit. I kinda wish I would have just left it alone but I'm ok with how it turned out!

I loved my wedding dress too! I wish I could have worn it again. But that never would have happened as I gained too much weight in the first year of marriage. (Oops!)
Mental note to keep an eye on our weight With the exception of our wedding week, both Eric and I are trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle so hopefully my dress will still fit after a year!

We did some outside photos after our wedding and people driving by shouted congratulations. It was fun.Aww how fun!!!

They do, don't they? I'm amazed at how great they made us look! We had them for 4 hours (2:30 - 6:30)

My metabolism slowed down in my mid-20's so I blame that. Thankfully in the past few years, I've been better about getting my weight back on track. It takes work though and that sucks. I miss being younger with great metabolism! Of course, while trying to lose weight, part of me says to myself "What the heck is the point? I'll gain all of this back (and then some) when I get pregnant!" LOL! Oh well. Being healthy is always a good thing anyway. I think when Spring finally gets here, it will be easier to get outside to do things and that helps. I doubt I'll ever fit back into my wedding dress again though.

I think it would be great if you did that photo shoot. Do you just hire Disney photographers or can you hire anyone you want?

It was finally time for the ceremony! I was in the Bride's vestibule trying not to throw up (from excitement, not nerves!) I could hear the music (a medly of Disney love songs)...but when I heard Going to The Chapel I knew it was time!!

I wish I had pictures but the funny thing that happened here is a group tourists showed up My mom, dad and I are waving our arms at them to leave but luckily one of the Wedding Planners showed up and told them they had to leave

It was actually kind of funny. Eric wondered why they didn't check the sign out front...we were the only wedding of the day. Anytime I go to the WP I check and make sure nothing is going on. Oh well...it made for a funny story. Especially when they saw me, obviously dressed as the bride and the light bulb didn't go off.

Thank you!! I am trying to figure out when I can wear my dress again, lol. Eric and I talked about going back for our 1st anniversary and doing the MK shoot like we wanted.

I wanted to wear my dress again on our first VR anniversary..I had Publix make a cake exactly like ours and put the topper on...but the dress was too big. I was thinking about a trash the dress session on the beach..but I would need it altered down but I just can't justify it ..

I'm going to try and post bits of the actual ceremony wording while I post pictures.

So we left off everyone had headed down the aisle, the doors closed and Mom, Dad and I walked up...I heard the music change to When You Wish Upon A Star and started immediately crying when the doors opened.

Big props to Lauren's Hubby Patrick who took most of these pictures!

Everyone is getting a kick out of this picture...my brother said I look terrified. Really I'm just trying to hold back my tears

On behalf of Eric and Amanda, I would like to thank each of you for attending this wedding celebration. We have gathered here today, surrounded by the love of both friendship and family to share in one of the happiest moments in the lives of Eric and Amanda: their joining as husband and wife.

Your very presence here as family and honored guest not only heightens the beauty of this moment for them--but it also completes it! This place is dear to their hearts, as it has seen the creation of so many wonderful memories for them. They hope that this happy place brings to you all the same sense of joy, peace and love that it has brought them.

Sooner or later we begin to understand that love is more than verses on valentines and romance in movies. We begin to know that love is here and now, real and true, the most important thing in our lives. For love is the creator of our favorite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams. Without love, we merely exist. With love, we truly begin to live!

The ceremony of marriage in which you come to be united is one of the first and oldest ceremonies in all the world, celebrated in the beginning in the presence of God himself. Marriage is a gift in that we give ourselves totally to one another. I believe that marriage is a gift given to comfort the sorrows of life and to magnify life’s joys.
Marriage is the clasping of hands, the blending of two hearts, the union of two lives into one. Your marriage must stand, not be the authority of the state, nor by the seal on your wedding certificate, but by the strength and power of the faith and love you have in one another

We are together as friends, relatives and family to mark the end of one beginning and to recognize officially a new beginning which for Eric and Amanda serves as a public affirmation of their friendship and their love.

They also want this day to mean something special to you as guests. Those who are married may want to silently renew and reaffirm your vows today by gently taking the hand of your partner during this ceremony. Others may want to also join hands and think about what it means to be a friend, for marriage is built first on friendship.

You are about to look into the eyes of your beloved and repeat words…so simple…yet so profound…words which can stand the test of time as you begin your lives together. Amanda and Eric have brought with them a strong wooden box. In addition, they have written a letter to one another, expressing their thoughts about the good qualities that they have found in each other, as well as, your reasons for falling in love. Under no condition were they to read each other’s letter.
Please place your letters in the box.

This box is not to be opened again until your 1st wedding anniversary. Your gift to each other will be a poignant reminder of the reasons that you fell in love with each other in the first place. It will give you an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the many ways that you have enriched each others lives, and remind you how blessed you have been to have shared this journey.
Each anniversary you will place a new letter to each other, expressing your feelings for the other, in the box to be opened each anniversary.

Please take each others hands.

Hand in Hand you enter marriage; hand in hand you step out in faith. The hand you freely give to each other is both the strongest and the most tender part of your body. I was trying to repeat what my brother was saying, but I totally missed it and had to ask him to repeat it...everyone got a good laugh at it.

The engagement ring is a symbol of promise and intention. Now the intention is realized and the promise fulfilled, please place your engagement ring on Amanda’s finger, over her wedding band to symbolize that the love that brought you together will always protect and sustain your marriage.
