I roast them in olive oil and salt, just like Italian long hots.This year it's my shishito peppers. They're very mild and are really good in tempura.
Are onions difficult? That's one I've never tried, but we definitely go through onions.Onions and bell peppers. I add them to so many dishes. Also love our green beans.
Were your raspberry plants little last year? I planted two starts from my sister's yard about a month ago. I thought it would be YEARS till we see fruit, but maybe in a year or two? They're only about a foot high right now.I had a zucchini jungle last year and they're just starting to come in.
But we planted raspberries last year and they went wild! (Birds ate the ...grrrr). I was able to pick an overflowing handful every day; sometimes twice a day this year and they were wonderful!
I also have some Living with the Land inspired pots of salad greens and basil on the porch that are perfect for a little salad every day!
