I want to hear about your favorite, can’t miss, always-order-it dishes at Disney. Can be TS or QS, app, entree, dessert, or snack.
In no particular order:
Hollywood Studios:
- Mickey Bars (yes, the ears taste better).
- Hand-crafted Margarita at 50's Prime Time Lounge....to-go.
Animal Kingdom:
- Mickey Bars (yes, the ears taste better).
- Buffalo Chicken Chips at Tri-Lo-Bites.
- Manchurian Cauliflower @ Nomad Lounge/Tiffins.
Epcot:
- Mickey Bars (yes, the ears taste better).
- Champagne & Pastries (also gelato) in France.
Magic Kingdom:
- Mickey Bars (yes, the ears taste better).
- Chicken'n'Waffle @ Sleepy Hollow (available only during certain hours).
- Footlong hotdog @ Casey's to be consumed while enjoying live piano playing. I'm partial to the BBQ Slaw Dog that seemingly comes & goes from the menu.
Boardwalk:
- ESPN Zone. I've been known to down an ice cold beer & NACHOS before going to dinner....
Swan & Dolphin:
- Selection of Whole Grilled Fish (or Cantonese Lobster) & Tempura String Beans @ Blue Zoo.
- Veal Milanese @ Il Mulno.
- Ribeye steak & Chocolate Souffle @ Shula's.
Disney Springs:
- Temple of Bacon @ Jock Lindsey. It may not be 'good eats', but it's worth the laugh.
- Best pistachio gelato, ever, @ Vivoli il Gelato.
- Voodoo Shrimp @ House of Blues.
- Cocktails (and maybe some oysters, etc.) atop Paddlefish.
- FWIW, we enjoy most every restaurant in Disney Springs; too much competition for any place to be bad. Tapas @ Jaleo, Dim sum & Peking duck @ Morimoto, and Fried Chicken @ Homecoming are our current favorites.
