Florida state taxes for DVC owner

Are there any scenarios where DVC owners (who are not Florida residents) need to file Florida state taxes? I understand a rental needs to be declared as income on federal taxes. If I rent points, do I need to also file Florida state taxes that year? If I choose to sell it down the line, same question. Thanks for any and all insight - need to gather all my facts before taking plunge!
