I think I read somewhere that snack credits could be used for some of the food at the Food & Wine Festival? Can anyone confirm and if so, what kinds of things could you get with the Plan? Thanks. Its our first time going at this time of year-we cant wait

we went to F&W last year and yes, you can purchase the food at the booths using your snack credits. You can only use it for food purchase, not alcohol. The items that are available for purchase will have the DDP logo next to it on the menu board. The items range from $1.50 - $4.00 a plate. Definitely a good deal for the snack credits.

Last year we ended up with around 16 snack credits left for F&W - boy... did I have fun with that - escargots, shrimp on the barbie, new zealend lamb stew... yum yum yum.

Oohh-I can't wait. Last year we had so many snack credits left, we got about 12 rice krispie treats to take home. I cant wait to use them to sample the food. Another question-is there somewhere on line that has menus of what is available at the Food & Wine Fest? I know it may be early for this year, but maybe from last just to give me an idea since we've never been. Thanks

Here's hoping they continue this for '06....another mom and I are dying to do the Festival, while the girls do other stuff. And if we can use those snack credits...oh, man!!

We are planning to keep snack credits and eat around the world! I cant wait this is my first f&w festival :cool1:

We're doing the same thing and i'm soooooooooooooo looking forward to it! We will be there the first day!!!

Does anyone know when the list of countries participating will be released? I noticed last year they had Poland and they were selling pierogies...I'm saving at least 3 snack points for those!!! :teeth:

OMG I am so hungry, now!

Thanks for the menus. We will just be making the tail end of F&W (1st time), and now I'm really looking forward to it!

When you say you can use your snack credits for items at the F&W booths are you referring just to the food portions, or may a snack credit be used for a sample glass of wine, too?

snack credits were good only for food, not for the drinks. I'm not anticipating it to be any different this year.

I think it's just fabulous to use snack credits especially on a free plan for the Food and Wine Booths.

I can't think of a better way to use the snack credits especially for adults. Yeah!

:thumbsup2 :cool1: :thumbsup2

:teeth: Does anyone know dates of F&W this year? Will it still be on 11/8-11/15?

Thanks! Sorry, I should have phrased that better, the dates I gave are when Im going! I meant will it still be running in Nov! Teach me to type w/ a baby in my lap! :teeth:
