Fun Easter Countdown

I've found that when I'm getting ready for a vacation or a holiday, I don't get to spend as much time with my kids. I started doing countdowns before Disney vacations, Christmas and Easter, to build their excitement and to set aside some time just with them. Our countdowns aren't just counting down the days, but they have a little activity of some type to get us into the spirit of whatever our upcoming event is! Right now, we are in the middle of our Easter Countdown! We have traditional things that we do, as well as new activities. I like to scatter crafts, food treats, games and even science throughout our month or so of a countdown.

I'm going to include a link to my blog, where you can find a list of the activities we are currently doing as well as check out our Disney Countdowns. Feel free to use any ideas that you like, and leave out any that don't work for your family. I even have a post about how to make your own countdowns! I am doing this simply as a way to share my ideas and hopefully to encourage others to surprise their kids with a countdown. They are worth the time it takes to put together!
