We leave for Galveston this weekend, and I’d love to hear about your favorite pre-cruise family dinner place.

Gaido's for excellent seafood, I think it's the best place in town.

Mario's for Italian and pretty good pizza

It's not exciting cuisine, but the Rainforest cafe right next to the San Luis hotel has a boat ride inside. Super convenient if you're staying nearby, too. I've been to a handful of other Rainforest cafes around the US, but it's the only one I've been to that has a ride - and some times, that sort of thing trumps the food when kids are involved!
