Hello, my name is Sonia. I am mum to one son, Joe (Joseph Samuel actually, hence the user name) who is 5 at the end of November.

We have visited DLP 3 times so far - on Joe's 3rd & 4th birthdays and once in between. We've stayed at the Cheyenne, Dream Castle, and Disneyland Hotel twice. The DLH is my favourite place in the entire world so far

We've just booked a trip for Joe's 5th birthday which we didn't think we would get as we've booked for our 1st time to WDW in April. The lure of those Christmas ads on the telly and the xmas emails from Disney just got the better of us  'Cos of the expense tho' we can't stretch to DLH and have booked Sequoia Lodge for the 1st time. :flower:

I have lurked on these boards for around 2 yrs, but have got the posting bug now :teeth:

Hello to all the new people and wleocme to our big, happy and slightly mad DIS DLRP family.

Hi My name is Caroline and I am 15 and live in Poole in Dorset. I have a brother who is 13 and we live with our Mum and Dad.

I like: Disney (yey) and Dancing (I want to be a dancer when I leave school: maybe even dance at Disneyland).

My first trip to Disneyland Paris was in Summer 2003 when we went on a coach tour and stayed off site and went to the Disneyland Park for one day.

Summer 2004 we stayed at the Sequoia Lodge for 4 nights, and last October we went for 2 days and stayed off site.

Yesterday I returned from our first trip on the eurostar when we stayed in the Hotel Cheyenne. It was great.

Hi Caroline and Sonia

I'm glad you've decided to post on the boards It's great to share experiences and find new things to do for your next visit (as we all have to go over and over again ;) )

Welcome Sonia and Caroline, I'm just along the coast in sunny (well maybe not at the moment! ) Bournemouth! :wave2:

Ciao ! I post from time to time on these boards ... and someone already knows me and DGH ( Disney Grumpy Husband ). :rotfl2:

We both are Italians and live in Milan , so please :confused3 forgive my bad English !!!!
I am a teacher ( Italian, History and Geography) and love very much my job ... crazy me !!!

Marco (DGH) shares with me an obsessive love for everything Disney-related (but he prefers everything Grumpy-related) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Though we are both in our 50s we always feel like teens while vacationing in a Disney Park: those are our HAPPY PLACES !!!!
We first visited DLP in 1992,when EuroDisney just opened :).
Then we have been at WDW in 1993, at DCL in 1994, at WDW in 1996 and 1998, again in DLC in 1999, DLP and WDW in 2000, DLC in 2001, DLP and WDW in 2002 and 2003, WDW in 2004 and again both parks this year. Moreover we Disney Cruised once per year since 2002.
Completely MAD !!!! (but DGH has always frequent flyiers free tickets!) :)

During the winter I look like a bear:

I am the one on the right! :earseek:

Laura - I LOVE the picture of you looking like a bear!! That is fantastic!! And so cozy too :)

Hi my name is Caroline. I live in Poole in Dorset and I am 15 years old.

I like Dancing and when I leave school I want to be a dancer (maybe even dance at Disneyland Paris one Day....).

My first visit to Disneyland Paris was 2 years ago. My most recent visit was in October half term this year when we stayed in the hotel Cheyenne.

Hi all

We are the Robson family - Brian, Jackie, Molly (5) and Lewis (3).
We are from Elgin, a town in the north east of Scotland and are all massive Disney fans.

We discovered WDW first and have been there praciically every year since 1993 and have only discovered the joys of DLP recently.

The kids are Disney mad and that makes the holidays for us now. We have been at Halloween 2004 and Easter 2005 and as Molly pointed out we have to go at Christmas to see what they do then so we are off on Friday. Thank goodness for Annual passes.

Jackie :earsgirl:

Hi everyone,

Well, I'm not exactly new here but I've never posted in this thread, so I thought it was about time! ;)

Well, I'm 24, and live in Hull, East Yorkshire with my girlfriend, Karen who is 23 years old.

My first visit to DLRP was this year in July. My dad won £3000 worth of expedia vouchers, and for some reason decided to book a 4 nights stay in the New York Hotel, for him, my mum, my brother, Karen and I. To be honest I didn't know much about DLRP and wasn't a huge Disney fan at the time, so I wasn't getting too excited about it. Silly me!

However, I ended up loving it. :flower: And Karen and I are going back on 28th November to the 1st December (staying at Sequoia Lodge), as the 30/11/01 is the day we first met and 30/11/02 was the day she proposed to me. So the visit will be extra special! :lovestruc

:goodvibes Hi Jackie and Julie :grouphug:

It's nice to find out more about you both.

Jackie I can't wait to go back and by annual passes next years so I can visit loads !!!(We have DD- Jessica 3 who's in training to by a Disney addict too )

Ah  as if DLP wasn't special enough. Have a great time :)

My Name is Steve
I live in Evesham with Judi (DW) and part time with Rhianna (Minnie Much) ((DD)).
Minnie Much lives in London most of the time with her Mum.
I run a garden design and consultancy business specialising in exotic plants. My big influence is the work done by Bill Evans who was the primary landscaper for the Disney parks.
Jude is an assistant manager for a retail company (at the moment) but is soon to be a mum to our new baby…….Lumpy :cool1: .
Rhianna is currently at school and may follow Dad into the landscaping business if the plans to be a dancer/actress don’t pan out.
We all love DLRP and WDW with a passion as they are the only places we really get to be a family.
We have been to DLRP 4 times together and WDW once (to celebrate Rhianna’s 10th, Judes 30th and my 40th birthdays). Jude and I honeymooned in the AKL. As you can probably tell these are our best holidays !!!!!!!!! .

Laura, what an amazing picture of you wrapped up in your fur coat. The comparison you have made with the Country Bear is hilarious, how funny. You and Grumpy look like a lovely couple.... hope I bump into you at DLP one day.

Hi , quick introduction ...

My name's Duncan and until my daughter arrived Disney passed me by . But how things change !
We are now 6 days away from our second trip to DLRP ( me + DW 32 week pregnant + 5yr old DD ) and I can't wait !!
Never been to WDW although Dad tells me it's great , may get to it once Junior No.2 is older .
I work in sales and live in Worcester .
Follow Wolverhampton Wanderers ( by birth not choice ! ) , The Mission , enjoy gigs , beer + family .

Hi Duncan, Disney can happily, now become an even better excuse because of the children :goodvibes

Welcome Lordy!! Good to know more about you. Have a wonderful time in DLP - we just got back and are desperate to go back already!!! Your DD will love it again. Glad to see you're "training" number 2 even before birth!!

Hi, I've been here for a week but I didn't know about this thread. I have enjoyed reading your intro's and I absolutely love all the pics. My name is Tia and I have 2 children, Lucy 16 and George 14. My DH is Tony who just doesn't love Disney like we do....... he can take it or leave it. One of the great things about Tony  is that he doesn't want to spoil our fun so he doesn't complain when we keep popping over to DLP. We always go to DLP without him but when we go to Orlando he always comes with us (we need a driver!! ;) God help me if he finds out his pic is on here! :badpc:

This pic was taken in August 2005 @ Epcot

Nice to see all of you Tia - what a good-looking family you are!!!

My DH loves Disney but Rhiannon and I always go to DLP in termtime as it's quieter and cheaper then (he's a teacher so can't join us) but we go to WDW every year together (just us 2 now the "kids" are grown up). He absolutely hates flying and won't go anywhere else so it's a great testament to WDW that he'll sit in a plane for 8 or 9 hours to get there!!! Our DS (27) also loves Disney but his funds won't stretch at the moment sadly!!
