By paying the extra?

Or will it actually work out better value to book the room at a discounted rate (if one becomes available) adn then add DDP on top?

you can upgrade for £4 per adult per day and £1 per child per day. I think it depends on the make up of your party as to which deal would be the best. For us 2 adults and 2 teens it would need to be one heck of a resort discount to better 4 adults free ddp :)

Thank you - trouble is I'm gonna have to book it on the US site - which is way more expensive than .co.uk at the moment...

We'll be 2 adults travelling.

ouch sorry you missed the UK deal, the exchange rate is doing us no favours on the US site just now :(
Have you seen the new uk deal pay 10 night get 14 on resort and tickets? it may be worth doing the maths with the dining on that deal.
If it helps I use an excellent UK disney specialist if you like I can pm you contact details, she works with both disney UK and US and has always found the best deals for us.

Sounds amazing thanks!!

We are only going for 7 nights! lol.

I'm missing all the good deals this year!!

They have for UK guests. But you had to book by the end of november 2008 for the 2009 free DP.
