I know this was mentioned here before, but I just saw an Instagram post that showed the GCH waterslide open! Like actual kids using it this afternoon! It was a concern of mine paying full price for limited services, but that was nice to see! (Especially since they said it would be closed )

Yep, it is open. The hotel is wonderful right now. We are really enjoying our stay. I wish I was able to stay longer. The staff is just amazing and so happy we are all back.

Ahhhhh so exciting. We have a 2 bedroom villa in a few weeks in May for two nights. It was going to be the kids as well but they all have lives, work, school, so just us two! I am really looking forward to it. Thank you everyone for the helpful tips and the wonderful pics.

As of today, 4/30...pool is open until 10pm. Same with Craftsman Bar. Have no idea how I know that.

I was wondering if it still has its own in the new setup. I would hope so. Walking to join the parking garage line would be crazy.

It still does have its own and exits near Sephora. Grand Cal does a temperature check prior to walking to the magnetometers and bag check. The temp check is inside near the convention rooms. They used the convention rooms to overflow the line yesterday morning.

This morning, we left GCH later, at 9:00. There was only one person ahead of us at the bag check, and we walked right to the esplanade; no queuing all the way back at the parking garage! We got through the gate in about 5 minutes.

We were at the pool this afternoon. Nice menu! Wanted to go in the hot tub, but it was never free (one household at a time). Much cooler today (relief!).

Forgot there is only "light housekeeping, vacuum, trash dumping, bed making every other day" here now.
