Trying to book, it's much cheaper to book GTY, we will need 2 rooms, we are all adults so no kids so we don't need connecting rooms.
Has anyone booked GTY for 2 rooms and been really far apart? Or does RC try to get you close together?
Thanks

It all depends on where the available rooms are. We wound up with a real stinker booking GTY. The boat was full over a month out. We even put in bids for a better room before we were assigned.

That being said once on the ship they tried to work with us. What ship are you looking at? I would feel more comfortable with GTY on a newer ship

They will make no effort to get your two rooms close together. It won't figure into their decision at all. It's going to be a risk, so you'll have to decide if it's worth the risk.

We almost always go with a Guarantee, and we've always been pleased with our room. We usually end up on Deck 6, and -- although it's not particularly popular -- it's become our favorite. And we're usually mid-ship. Last cruise we ended up on Deck 3, which seemed really far from everything -- but we were in a handicapped room, which was the size of a suite.

We're fine with rolling the dice.
