Halloween to Christmas decorations

we will be at Disney over Halloween and into Nov (leaving the 4th) - do they still strip down Halloween and start putting up Christmas right away on the 1st? Hoping to see both decorations while we are there

You may see some of the Christmas decorations. The first party is Nov 8 so I’m guessing the changes may start before you leave. I know a lot can happen in one night.

Do the overlays for the rides start before the official date? I was thinking of doing a quick weekend trip on 11/4-11/6 and I'll wait a few weeks if everything won't be settled by then.

99% of Chrustmas theming/decorations us done with in 24 hours. There are 500 + CM come in to do switch.
Surprising it is earlier to do it all at once.

Will they have the overlays like Jingle Cruise also done before the official start which I think I heard was 11/8?
