Has anyone stayed at Hampton Inn and used the shuttle service?

If so were there any surprises? What time does the shuttle leave?
Is this a nice hotel?

We are trying to decide where to stay the night before our cruise. I've also heard the Radisson is a good option, any info on that would be great also.

My husband and I just stayed there. We spent a very nice day walking the beach. There are several fast food places close by and a WinnDixie. The shuttle time was between 12 and 1 but if you want to go earlier they will call for you. We opted to go at 11. Our driver (Richard) was a very nice young man. All went well. They also have two computers in the lobby (no charge) with internet access.
 


WinnDixie is a food store (and beer and wine). We walked to it, but if you have young children you would probably be better off driving.
 
<a href="http://www.winndixie.com"><font color=blue>Winn-Dixie</font></a> and <a href="http://www.publix.com/"><font color=blue>Publix</font></a> are the two grocery store options in the area. I personally prefer Publix. And as edith76 said, grocery stores in Florida sell beer and wine.
