HELP: Split stay, upgrading to PAP and FP+'s

hello!

I need some help with my situation.. SO and I are staying at POFQ on 12/18-12/20 (room only), and CSR 12/20-12/27 (free dining plan with 2 day base tickets). We are from California and currently have premium passes to DLR. We want to upgrade to a PAP for the trip, but CM told us we have to upgrade when we arrive in Florida (and can apply the 2 day base tickets to our upgrade only during our 2nd resort stay at CSR). Any solutions on how to be able to get FP+ 60 days out aside from upgrading to PAP early at DLR? I've been researching for weeks and have no luck Thanks so much in advance!

If you are staying at a Disney resort you can book FP+ at 60 days. I don't know how you go about the changing of passes, but there are many who will know.
