Hollywood & Vine Dinner Characters?

We are going in September. It seems like they now do characters for all meals? Last time I think it was just for breakfast?? It says seasonal, so I think we will be there for the Halloween one. Is it nightly or only certain nights? How is the dinner here? We typically only do breakfast buffets and not dinner ones. We currently have Sci-Fi reservations, but are thinking of switching to this. Thoughts?

I was there for the Halloween dine.

It was Mickey, Minnie (greeting up front), Donald, Daisy, and Goofy in Halloween costumes.

The dinner is a standard Disney buffet (very similar to Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's) and I thought it was pretty good.

If you want Halloween-themed character dining at HS, then this is a good choice.

If you're not interested in character dining, then Sci Fi is fine.
