Hopping down the Disney trail - Easter 2016!

I don't always plan trips to Disney, but when I do I make sure it's during one of the most crowded and expensive times! LOL!

March 25-29, 41 year old me and my 71 year old father and 73 year old mother will be visiting the Mouse for the first time in 17 years! This will be my fifth trip and their fourth.

We started toying with the idea about a week and a half ago, and then I booked the trip a few days later. We will be driving down, approximately 600 miles straight through from NC.

Here's what we've got: 5 nights at Caribbean Beach Resort with 3 days of park hopping. We are on the regular dining plan.

Tentative Itinerary (180-day ADR window opens up late next month)

Day 1:
Arrival for check-in @ 3-4pm
Settle in and relax
Quick service dinner either at food court or DTD

Day 2:
Magic Kingdom for RD
Breakfast at Crystal Palace (I love the 100 Acre Wood gang)
Explore, absorb, and enjoy MK in the AM
Back to hotel for food court lunch, swimming, napping, etc
Off to EPCOT in evening for dinner at San Angel Inn
Stroll around World Showcase
IllumiNations (FastPass+)

Day 3 (EASTER SUNDAY - we're steering clear of MK or EPCOT today)
Breakfast at hotel food court
Animal Kingdom for RD
Kiliminjaro Safari first thing (I hear the animals are more active early AM and late PM)
Explore, absorb, and enjoy AK
Lunch at Tusker House
Back to hotel for resting, swimming, and napping
Return to Animal Kingdom to do whatever we missed in the AM
Quick service dinner at Flame Tree BBQ
*Rivers of Light nighttime spec (assuming it's still scheduled to premiere in March)

Day 4
Breakfast at hotel food court
EPCOT for RD
Explore, absorb, and enjoy EPCOT
Lunch at Sunshine Seasons
Back to hotel for resting, swimming, napping
Magic Kingdom in PM
Dinner at Be Our Guest
Peter Pan's Flight at some point (FastPass+)
Main Street Electric Parade
Wishes (FastPass+)

Day 5:
Breakfast at food court.

Cry
Get on the road for a long drive home.

No Hollywood Studios because there's just not much there that we care about or for. I tried to pick dining experiences that are distinctly Disney. FastPasses are best used for fireworks and such for us (except Peter Pan!).

I'm very excited! Hoping Mom and Dad have a great time!
