I have done it a few times in the past, though. The first time, I earned gift certs from computer reward programs. We also got a discount with our Disney Club card. Then, we went back with the lunch vouchers last year, sharing a meal between DH, DD1, and me. The voucher cost about 30.50, and we shared steak and lobster. We did this twice during our trip. I brought a jar of baby food to supplement DD's meal. I would not have gone if we weren't sharing; I would have done a big character lunch buffet and maybe had a small thing for dinner at the resort food court or parks instead. The food was good every time we went, and it was good to go right after we did things in AK. I'll probably get an adult and child's lunch voucher to use for our Sept trip, as there will be 4 of us- DH, DD11, DD1, and me. We will probably have enough food, but it still won't be "budget". It will cost about 43.75 for the meal (before additional tip), which is about 15/person, not including DD1 because we normally share our meals with her anyway. Again, I will only do this because we will be sharing better quality food than what we would get at the food court. From what I've heard, you can join the RFC Safari Club & get special benefits & discounts, like a 10. gift cert upon joining and $ off your meal or a free appetizer, as well as PS type benefits.
