They should be open right ? Will it be busy and packed ? Just wondering whether these are good days to go. Seems New Year's dag is a big Day in Japan so will Japanese people go to the park ? Or maybe they have family gatherings to attend ?
Anyone ever stay there during that time and have some advice ? Thanks

Have not been during those times:rolleyes1

But a tracker a friend emailed me has Christmas as "spicy" or red. Gotta love translations:rotfl: And New Year's two levels below that.

From what we have gathered moving here last year, Christmas is a time for couples/lovers although the holiday is slowly becoming more of a family tradition. It just depends on how much contact with Yankees they might have. New Year's is a big family time. But they get together to do differant things, not go to Disney.

We did look into going last year but could not get a hotel room at a few of the limited hotels we looked at.

Good Luck

Christmas Eve is the biggest date night of the year in Japan, and the parks will be mobbed. (Especially Disney Sea, as it is considered the date park for locals.) Christmas should also be pretty packed. All of the decorations will be gone on December 26th, but from what I've heard the days leading up to New Year's is busy as people come to see the special parades, and there is an all night event New Year's Eve to New Year's Day.
