How Much is your 2015 Vacation going to cost you?

This trip $258 for flight and $3100 for 6 days 5 nights at BWI - Outer Bilding - Garden View - Club Level (the cottages) with the deluxe dining plan.

13 days 12 nights at CBR on a free dining bounce back - $3800 for 2 adults and two kids. Add maybe $500 for travel cost, we drive, and your looking at $4300 - not bad for a two week stay at Disney if you ask me!

Our vacation is 14 days/15 nights (5 at WDW). We're 2 adults and 1 kid. Total budget is $5400 cash plus $600 in Disney Visa rewards.

Itemized:

  • Flights: 6 one way tickets: $900 total. We're flying into Atlanta and back from FLL and I saved a bunch just by using two different airlines with one ways. AA and United wanted an outrageous $500 per round trip ticket for this itinerary.
  • Hotels outside Disney: 5 nights $625 - breakfast included
  • Staying with friends 5 nights: free (If I count the thank you wine, then $60)
  • Car rental - 2 weeks: $700 (saved $100 by prepaying and lots by shopping around for the cheapest company)
  • 5 nights Room at AKL and 5 day park hoppers - $1940 (I went back and forth on the 30% off room promotion and the free dining promotion and decided that the room discount was a better option for us. Dining would have been about $500 more for the trip at the time I booked).
  • Dog Kennel: $450 (did not listen to my husband's suggestion to save money by getting rid of dog)
The remaining money in the budget will be used for food, activities outside Disney and possibly souvenirs if there's any money left at the end.

AKL CL

Room + Dining = $2190
Military ticket for DH (I have AP) = $174
Dog boarding: 150
+ whatever we spend on tips. We drive from only about 2.5 hours away so not much travel cost.
