How to reserve Illuminations Cruise?

How do I go about booked a reservation for an Illuminations Cruise?

We have reservations for a July cruise and this is what we did.

You need to call exactly 90 days before you want to reserve your cruise. On that morning, a couple minutes before 7:00 am, call 407-WDW-PLAY. You will hear the recording that they are closed. Keep calling, until you get the open message. (You should call prior to your 90 day mark so that you know the difference in the 2 messages.) As soon as the correct message starts playing immediately select #4, #1, #1. Do not stop to listen to what they are saying or you won't get through in time. As soon as the Cast Member answers the telephone, tell them that you want an Illuminations Cruise and the date. Do not chit chat or it will be too late.

We did this earlier this month. The first 3 days, the cruises were all filled by the time we got through. On the 4th day, 2 of the people we had calling managed to get through. Don't worry if you and a friend both reserve for the same day, you can always cancel one of the cruises if you get 2.

Good Luck there are only 5 pontoons boats available for each day.
