We just got a few sprinkles from that one. There was a gap in the band and we just slid right through it. I don’t mind being ignored by Idalia. She can turn her back on me all night . . .

The first one was pretty bad. We lost power for half an hour. The second band just flickered everything. We're in a big gap right now.

Hurrican Idalia - now a category 3. Tropical Storm chances are now 18% for Orlando area ​

Rains increasing overnight between 2 AM and 2 PM Wednesday when Idailia is downgraded to a Cat 1 as it near the Georgia Line.

If I had to deal with a stormy, rainy day at WDW GDT’s Chronos Club would be at the top of my accommodation list!

Hurricane Idalia is now a category 4 and land fall is expected between 7 - 9 AM and is now expected to be a Cat 2 near the Georgia Line. Tropical Storm conditions 8% for the Orlando area.

Currently expecting 100% chance of rain this morning and dropping this afternoon.

Was at BWV during Ian last year. Hope this one leaves WDW alone.

We were at BWV also. We felt safe and the CMs were very efficient IMO. The Sandwich bags that were available for purchase were reasonably priced and the food in the convention area was good.

They brought the outdoor patio furniture inside our room as a precaution and we missed a park day but it could have been so much worse for everyone.

We actually enjoyed hanging out at the resort. We met some new friends and got to know some amazing CMs.

*as a side note for anyone here, we had BG 14 for Tron and just got here, however we were still allowed to ride, although we are 2 hrs. past our group being called.
