Is everyone evacuating outside? Isn't the eye going over you? Radar looks frightening.

wdwinfo's latest update @ 11:00p ET:

Hurricane Irma has shifted its path once again and the eye of the storm is heading for Orlando with sustained winds of 100 mph.

Orlando is on the northeast side of the storm, which is where the worst weather is. Tropical storm force winds are extending [425] from the center of the storm.

Tornadoes have been touching down all over the area and at least 50,000 people in the Orlando area are without power.

Across Florida there are currently 3.4 million homes without power. There has been one fatality reported in the Orlando/Orange County area, when a woman driving on State Road 417 just before the 7:00 p.m. curfew went into effect hit a guardrail and was killed.

Mayor Teresa Jacobs is advising residents to “please stay indoors. Stay in the safest place of your home until we get through this storm.”

Since your post, there are now almost 5 million FL homes without power, & the Weather Channel said that could grow to 10 million!

The update for the Orlando area is 140,000 without power.

Thanks for the great job that you are doing, @hiroMYhero :)

Thank you @AnnaKat for your kind words! Also thanks for the update!

My daughter and her BF spent the night in the walk-in closet and are safe. Still without power but her house and windows are intact.
