Uber Eats pickup is nationwide now. Going to be easier to use up the Uber credits.
My bankamericard was switched to the cash rewards card, but it was at my request. I wanted the 3% back for online shopping (5.25% with preferred rewards). It works especially well when combined with BoA offers.Anyone ever have this happen? BOA switched my bankamericard I had gotten to the Cash Rewards card. I got the bankamericard as it was a 0$/0% card that I transferred my balances to when I took over my portion of the CC debt w/ the divorce. I went to close it this year and they talked me into keeping it since it's a $0 AF. I was going to close it hoping that maybe I could do the $0/0% offer again and transfer a balance back to it in the spring.
I've never had a company switch the card I had before, LOL. I don't use the card currently, so I guess they are trying to woo me with the 3% back in whatever category I chose. Now I need to figure out what I want to chose. I use costco for gas 99% of the time, so gas isn't a good one. I already get 3% back on dining and travel w/ the CSR. So I guess I'll chose either online shopping or home improvement.
My account number apparently isn't changing, but I'm guessing since it's a different card now, that means I could go for the $0/0% offer again if I need it?

3 questions:
1. PHL vs BWI? Any opinions?
2. IAH vs Hobby?
3. Any way to tnsfer MR to book a United flight?
Trying to puzzle together if we flew to see my in laws next year instead of drove how we would do that with points and what currency we’d need. Need to preserve our AA stash for other planned flights or book United instead for one of them.
@Artygal90 we will actually be flying to houston for a cruise out of Galveston! Will probably rent a car either way and explore a little on our own so was just trying to figure out if one was awful or not haha United has direct flights from our local airport to IAH but if someone said Hobby was way easier we’d consider driving to the bigger city airport to do that!
Hey some people like to live on the edge! And lots of people underestimate how huge Houston is. Just making sure you weren’t wanting to fly into IAH, quickly pop into the Galleria, and then mosey down to the cruise terminal in Galveston all in one day
My $10,000 from the UR cash-out is already showing in my Discover Bank account. Makes me feel better to see those funds there (it just felt like a lot of money in motion)
I’m trying to plan our last trip for May 2020 before the SW calendar opens next week and need destination suggestions! We are thinking we will leave HOU either very late on a Wednesday or very early on a Thursday, spend Thurs-Sat sightseeing, then fly back on Sunday. I’d love to travel over Memorial Day weekend but don’t think DH will be able to get that weekend off.
Anyone have suggestions for somewhere we could go that isn’t too long a flight (3-5 hours max) from Houston and where we could see the highlights in 3 days? We are looking to NOT do a theme park for this trip we have already been to LA, New Orleans, and New Mexico on recent trips, and are planning to do Denver in 2021. Suggestions welcome!
You can deposit it into any account. I don’t know if a Chase account would be any different but I just entered my routing and acct and how much I wanted to cash out. It was very easy.I was going to ask how that works....If I have a Chase checking account is there an option to just drop it right into the Chase account?
This happened to me I wish I had never self refered now. I’m afraid this may mean more pop ups when applying for new cards. Like we are black listed now. I hope not cause in another year I want to make a AMEX personal run of cards.According to this comment on r/churning those with self referral clawbacks can no longer refer at all on any cards. May want to check for those of you who were affected!
What airline will you be on? That will pretty much determine which airport you end up at.2. IAH vs Hobby?
If I ever fly out of Houston, I choose HOU every time.@Artygal90 we will actually be flying to houston for a cruise out of Galveston!
