I love credit cards so much! v6.0 - 2023 (see first page for add'l details)

The other 3 in my group that registered still haven't gotten emails, so I'm holding out hope!

No one in our group of 6 has reported getting an email but me. DH definitely has not, not 100% sure about the others. So, 1 with a waitlist, 1 with nothing.

Nothing here yet. Not sure if that's good news.....I've never refreshed my e-mail so many times lol.

Dd's boyfriend got a waitlist e-mail at 7:17. Dd hasn't checked her e-mail since 7 (she left her phone upstairs), nothing for me, we haven't heard from dh.

So we’re down to 1 person in our group who didn’t get a “wait list” email. And that includes an extended circle that totals 8+ people now. So it’s down to my DH at this point.

Close. My DD is at one south of there. I've been to both and it was such a nice surprise to see these beaches along the lake.
As a born and raised Chicagoan, it's always interesting to hear people's perspective on Lake Michigan or any of the Great Lakes. I've had people who were so surprised they couldn't see across Lake Michigan like that thought it was a big pond. I know Lakes Michigan, Superior and Huron have beaches. I haven't been to the other 2. Lake Michigan has significant beaches on all sides and dunes in Indiana large enough to be a National Park.

Nice beaches on Lake Ontario too, but not soft sand, more coarse. Super popular though and some beautiful parks on parts of it.

Question for our CSP folks here, when do the anniversary points actually post? Chase has the usual 2-3 billing cycle language but I'm not finding any good reports of actual posting time.

It's definitely not your anniversary statement. Found several reports of PCs before posting never receiving them (but also found a report of a CSP just not receiving either). So it probably has to still be a CSP when they try to post? But my Google-Fu has not been strong on finding out when that is.

The FHR benefit was really great at Universal Orlando despite the crazy price for Portofino Bay. We loved the hotel, had the room for 30 hours (took 5 showers between us!), had an amazing dinner and a great breakfast. For some reason they deactivated our keys at 1 PM (4 PM guaranteed check out) and comped our parking to apologize.

If I had to do it again in this weather, 1 day with 2-park tickets would have been enough. We did get on Velocicoaster 2x and Hagrid's motor bike once plus we saw the Bourne Stuntacular which was new since I'd last been. DS got 3 frozen butter beers plus a Simpson's donut. All in all a great mother/son trip.

Now I have to say goodbye to him Saturday. Ugh, ugh, ugh!

Ok, I have a CSP, Chase Sapphire Preferred, since 2019, and I've no idea what you mean by anniversary points. Or are you speaking of a Southwest card?

I was so confused, too. Lol. CSP just gets $50 for hotels
I believe it was a new benefit added in 2021?... according to the points guy at least. I've never kept a CSP past the year, but you are supposed to get a 10% anniversary bonus. Mine shows an ongoing "tracker" online of how much my bonus will be.

ETA: Here's what it looks like from my Rewards Activity page... and it shows the amount of URs next to it...

I haven’t been to Indiana Dunes yet but Sleeping Bear Dunes was amazing and highly recommend.

and Lake Erie has beaches as well.

4 TS waitlists for Miami. My niece did get a code and since she went to the Tampa one, she's going to get my son a ticket if she manages to actually purchase one. He refused to wear pink to go see Barbie but says he's going to wear a costume to the concert - looking forward to seeing what he comes up with as he usually runs from anything that calls attention to him.

One of our very favorite vacations was in Lakeside, Ohio--the Chautauqua on Lake Erie. I found it after reading a Family Fun Magazine story on great beach towns. It was charming, relaxing, and close to Cedar Point, so we spent a day there. The beaches, however, were very different. The dark water was very shallow so we could walk out quite a distance, and the shores were pebbly rather than sand. I keep trying to get us back to that place because it was such a good vacation for our young family.

from Wiki: Chautauqua is an adult education and social movement in the United States that peaked in popularity in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Chautauqua assemblies expanded and spread throughout rural America until the mid-1920s. The Chautauqua brought entertainment and culture for the whole community, with speakers, teachers, musicians, showmen, preachers, and specialists of the day.[1] U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt said that Chautauqua is "the most American thing in America".[2][3]

I was at Indiana Dunes camping before it became a National Lakeshore. Sleeping Bear is far more stunning. Lots of nice Michigan State parks between the two with nice beaches and dunes. Love Lake Michigan. Hoping to do a golf trip to MI next summer.
