That container of Haagen-Dazs counted as a dessert on the Dining Plan!? I've come to the conclusion that it depends on who is checking you out and what they do and don't count as beverages, desserts, etc. I've heard so many conflicting things from CMs regarding the Dining Plan. Everyone should have gotten the ice cream as opposed to a three bite cookie!

I was pretty surprised about that, too. And I agree that there are constant conflicts on the DP. And those cookies were pretty big. The kids liked them

It really was good. Not too saucy. We enjoyed it. The salad was really good, too. Once you get near the end of the trip, you need your green things - LOL.

I couldn't believe it about the ice cream. You never know what you are going to get on the Dining plan. It is all about asking the right questions to the right people.

Day 9

Our last day. We had planned on Magic Kingdom for this day, but DD wanted to head back to AK. So the night previous I was able to change our fast passes. We checked out of our room, packed up the car and headed into the park.

DD was dying to ride Kali River Rapids. I didn’t want to get soaked right away, so DH bravely volunteered to ride with her while DS and I checked out the Tigers.

We waited for DH and DD to get off Kali River Rapids. I think they rode twice.

Finally they were done and we stopped and got a pretzel.

Then DD and I rode Primeval Whirl – twice. DH and DS weren’t into it. So we used their FP’s.

Then DD and DH went to ride Dinosaur. DS and I waited outside of Hester and Chesters.

After that, we got some lunch – I don’t remember where – and headed out to the car and Home.

We had a great trip. It was much warmer this Spring Break than the other trips we have taken. Maybe it was preparing us for the two weeks of 100 degree temperatures here at home. It has been a brutal summer so far and I really miss Disney.

Stuff is happening at home with DH’s job and I am not sure when we will be able to head back. But I will be thinking and dreaming of visiting soon.

We've had a ton of rain in the Chicago area. I'm so sick of rain right now, but it could be worse with all the flooding and tornadoes I've seen on the news.

Hope everything works out with your DH's job and you can return to Disney soon. We had five days picked out to go in October (my Fall Break), but my lovely niece decided to get married on one of the dates. I was seriously considering not going to the wedding, but my sister would probably never speak to me again, so it doesn't look like we'll get a trip in this year. And we haven't been since October of 2013, so it really stinks.

I've been in the Disney meh mood lately, we have a tentative trip planned for fall break but I'm just not feeling it so I thought I wonder if jecskc has a new TR I haven't read yet. I havn't been on the DIS in months, hopped on and am now ready to go back to Disney TODAY!! I love your reports, thanks for sharing and putting me back in the Disney spirit.

p.s. the kids are getting so big! DD looks like she is getting tall and so slim! My DS10 is jealous of your DS's hair. He wants those curls that "drive the girls wild".
