We did Nov 13-Nov 18
We weren't hardcore - no rope drops, no closing the parks. I have cancer and my daughter is 6 and likes her bedtime (lol) so we did maximum 6 hours in a day at a park.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time.
Magic kingdom is just so happy. We did Enchanted tales with Belle, rockymountain roller coasters (15 min wait) pirates (FP) and then scored a same day FP for space
Mountain (which is an insane roller coaster). The second day we just did CRT and met Elena. My husband was grabbed for the sword in the stone show.
Monsters inc was disappointing. It's really just a movie. Yes it's interactive but it's kind of lame.
The parade was amazing. Loved it.
Both our MK days were party days so not too busy which made us happy.
Epcot was disappointing. Akershus, walk on to FEA after a breakdown and 16 min wait for Elsa was great but world showcase is just food and shops (IMO) and I felt like future world was kind of jetsons like. Needs an update. Loved Coral Reef and loved Soarin. Hated Mission space but shouldn't have done the orange side.
Hollywood studios was 5 shows (why so many shows at DHS? Why not send some over to MK and put more rides?). Loved Indiana Jones. Loved star tours.
Wait for tower was 120 min and RR was the same for most of the day.
Animal kingdom. By far our favourite park after magic of MK. The decor is amazing. We loved the safari and FOP was amazing. We haven't even seen pandora and we could appreciate alll
Of it.
We had the dining plan which made our lives easy but it was hard to have all the snacks. Portion sizes are huge!!
My only big complaint is the same one I had the last time we went. The quick service restaurants have such little selection and are so slow. Yes, there are lineups at prime time but even when there is no line up the workers are soooooo slow. That was disappointing.
I would like to go back in a couple years and so would my kid. But I think we will wait until 2020. My husband was a little sick of the obvious commercialism - the trying to make every last dollar vibe.
