OK, it's 8:30pm Eastern time right now and I'm getting ready for bed. It's really pathetic - I'm such a "talker" - I was soooo ready for drunk posting night! This week just really caught up to me. Plus I had a watermelon martini at dinner (tasted like a Jolly Rancher - yum!!!) and a glass of wine. Then I came home to a nice hot bubble bath and let me just say, I'm wiped out! But I sooo look forward to reading all y'all's postings in the morning.
DH was funny at dinner. He wanted to find a new tequila drink so we were going to go to the liquor store after dinner, but we looked at each other and kinda laughed and said we need to act like grownups because we have a lot do tomorrow. Since when do we need to act like grownups?
Now DD is whining because I don't want to have a "campout" with her tonight (basically a slumber party in her room). Sometimes I sleep upstairs in the guest room on nights that DH works late - that way he doesn't wake me when he gets in, and DD usually comes in and snuggles with me.
It's out "girls night." So now she is ruining a perfectly good evening with her whining!!! I don't think there's anything that bugs me more than that!!!!
I read up through the Feb 28th episode of Lost. I had forgotten so much! I told DH I want to buy all the previous seasons because I'm sure I've forgotten a lot! I remember the very first episode. DD must have been about 3 (?) and she was up past her bedtime because I think she must have been sick or something. I knew nothing about Lost, but must have had the TV on ABC when it came on. I got sucked in (as I rocked her on the sofa) right away, but I had no idea what this show as supposed to be about....and then there was that scene where someone got sucked into the engine - remember???? DD kept asking me for weeks, "Mommy, why did that man go into the fire?" Yup, there went my mother of the year award!!!! I don't think I've missed an episode since!!! And again, when I get confused (which is usually from the opening credits until the word "LOST" appears at the end -
) I just think, "just take off your shirt Sawyer!" That makes it all better!
DH just walked in and said, "so are any of your drunk friends online?"
OK, ladies, have a wonderful night! I might check back in later, but as of right now - it's off to bed I go!
