Looking for Non-Standard Things to do in WDW?

Can recommend the scavenger hunt in EPCOT. We did the Ratatouille and the one with the bee. Both have revealed parts of EPCOT we had never seen before.

Some of my favorite non-standard things and activities to do are....

Scavenger Hunts - The one at Epcot, is amazing. Although don't sleep on the scavenger hunt at Galaxy's Edge called Batuu Bounty Hunters (You will need MagicBand+). That's a pretty fun one also.

Disney Boardwalk - We love spending time on the Boardwalk, especially at night. Also a great way to walk to all the different Disney resorts that are connected by the Boardwalk and "Hotel Hop" by walking instead of taking a bus.

Race Challenges - When younger, with siblings and friends, we'd have race challenges in the Parks. Something like who can finish riding the 3 mountains (Space, Big Thunder and Splash) fastest wins and get a free lunch/dinner or some other rewards we all agreed on. Or something like who can eat a dole whip, pretzel and turkey leg the fastest, wins. So then it's a race to see who can accomplish that challenge first. It's a fun component to add to a regular Disney day!

We enjoyed the Ducktales interactive game in Epcot. It's fun for adults too! If you ever did Kim Possible or Phineas and Ferb, it is similar.

If you drink, the monorail or gondola pub crawls are wonderful ways to spend an afternoon and evening.

Monorail- we start at the GF (used to be Mizner's but now is Enchanted Rose), then monorail to CR for the bar at Steakhouse 55. then take the boat to WL and hit the wonderfully hidden Territorial Lounge and outside at Geyser Pt. Then boat back to the CR and take the monorail Poly for a Lapu Lapu at the Tambu Lounge.

Gondola- Start up on the Boardwalk with a drink at Abracadabar then walk or boat over to the Crew's Cup at the Yacht club. Then hit the Gondola and hop off at the Riv for a drink at Bar Riv on the ground floor by the pool. Back on the Gondola and over to Caribbean for a drink at Sebastions. Then back to the boardwalk.

Great to do on days when you want to take it easy in the morning and be rambunctious later in the day.

I love my dawn patrol morning runs at the resort. Such a great way to start the day.

This is my favorite way to start my day at the resorts. Also, great for sunrise photos.
