We heard that the Magic was a little late leaving NYC last night and had some time to watch via webcams. Between DW on her laptop and me on the IPad we were able to find a sequence of webcams to follow the ship out to sea. Sharing for others who might like to watch or for feedback from folks with knowledge of other webcams that might be available. I’ll provide the sequence and some notes.
The first was a webcam from Manhattan overlooking the port. Don’t have a link but DW found a link on a travel website, will edit if I can find link.
Second was the Port of New York cam and the PTZ link is below. This one has sound and you could hear the horns as they pulled away and moved down the Hudson.

The NYC harbor cam is a good option at this point. Although the ship took some time to come into view, you can turn on the sound in this link and hear the radio calls to the ship. (We kept this on in the background until the ship was past the Statue of Liberty.)

Switch to the Statue of Liberty webcams to catch the ship moving past lower Manhattan. There are multiple cams here and the Liberty park view was a little better at first and then the Statue cam.

The Lady Liberty webcam on that page (looking from Brooklyn) the link was not working but DW found one that worked. That had a great view of the ship with the statue in the back ground.
ETA - webcam from Brooklyn back toward statue -

After passing the statue, switch back to the port of NYC tab/page.
Next places would be Verrazzano bridge and possibly Coney Island. We couldn’t find a good webcam for the bridge but did see the ship pass on one. Didn’t try to watch from the Coney Island so not sure how good that view was. Any suggestions on links for those would be appreciated.
